For those unaware of Sonic's free newsserver, attached is the view of
 settings for Agent (version 2).
If you have a newer version of Agent, familiarise yourself with it and
feel your way. You will be able to set up multiple servers using newer
versions (from what I am told), so can keep your current settings.
If you are using Outlook Express, don't write me.

Steve from Sonic News provides a free newsserver that will retrieve
 binary (posts with attachments).
Your limit is 50megs a day.

Note: If you do use Sonic to post, please remember that a 5 posts an
hour rule applies. (So limit your "thank you's".../giggle)

 free.sonic-news.com is free for 50MB/day, 5 posts/hour. All groups.
 No registration or username/pass required.

Obviously, we have paid subsciptions too (beginning at $3.95 for
 250MB/day).

Lunch was great, thanks for asking...../tinkle
