If you are needing to change the format to what your machine uses here
is a free software program that will convert designs.

That being said once the design is converted into your machines format
the colors will still be whack so what I do is I go to
http://www.embroiderydesigns.com/
Then I look up the design I want to use and the color chart is listed
on the page where the design is found e.g.
go to embroidery designs com
type in the search field
dakota ch0074 OR great notions 9674
a thumbnail pic will come up
mouse over it and a box pops up that says click for details
click on details then you will see all the details for the design and
the color chart. Click on color chart.
Now the software I use I can change the colors on the design...
if that free "my editor" program doesn't let you make color changes
then you can just write it out on paper. Hope this helps.
