Well, that logo HAS a lot of detail - and in a 2 and a half inch size
you're right - it's much too much to squeeze in there! You might try
using the same color thread in areas where it changes to reduce the
technicolor effect, while keeping some of the texture.

If you could provide an image with the unwanted detail omitted or
modified, it would be possible to re-do it for you. As it is, it's
hard for someone else to know which details could be omitted, and
which are significant to you. For example - how much of the fish
detail is desired? Do you want a solid dorsal area or just some of the
dappling or ??? And then re-draw the logo to be digitized - it would
really be an imposition to ask someone else to redraw it to the level
of detail you want.  YOU have seen the stitched logo and know what
parts of if don't look right to you.
