It appears that the final sewed-out product should look quite good,
except that things like the lower border and the vertical separators
probably shouldn't all be in the same direction, and the same
direction as the larger field.

The one I did has much of the same failing, but that's because I use a
quick and dirty auto-digitizer, with not much subsequent tweaking and
editing. Doing things RIGHT takes a lot more time and effort.

Oops! - I just took a closer look at the one I posted- it seems to be
missing the 9 in 2009 :(    I can fix it if you still want it.

 From a machine standpoint, your design seems to have 4 colors, but 14
color changes! I wouldn't want to change the thread, see the machine
make 10 stitches, and then change the thread back!  Might be OK on a
multi-head machine, but not on the usual single-head home machine.
