Your news service is using HighWinds so that group
should be available to you.
If we can get there I can run you through some setups
and test post them there to get you up and running in
quick time. From what I see you have the basics and
just need some practice.
Best we do that elsewhere, I reckon.
ABVJT is pretty quiet and off a lot of
scanners/spammers radar.
Use:
Groups/Folders>AllGroups>Edit>Find
and type (or C&P) "alt.binaries.vj.tester" into the
search dialog field.
When found, use a left click to highlight the group
name and then a single right click to get the menu
which has "subscribe" included as a choice.
Left click to tick "subscribe".
Return to your "Subscribed groups" list and download a
sample of say 40 headers from ABVJT to check the group
is available to you.
