Grabit cannot post attachments. There are a few newsreaders like that
whose sole function is to GRAB files (hence the name).
Giganews is a news SERVER, which you access through your news READER.
It has nothing to do with either reading or posting, it's merely the
place where posted things get put and get read from.
You need a different newsreader. Even Outlook Express can be used to
read and post, but it can be awkward to retrieve, and it's often a
malware target. The newsreader of choice is Agent, from Forte, Inc.
The only Free version currently available is 3.3. It works well, but
may take some time to set up and get used to. Hacked copies of earlier
pay-for versions of Agent can be found, and one is regularly posted here.
