That's the way to do it TW.. bloody ripper (great)!!
Edited screenshots are a great help.. to all.
What I have done is load the "standard" <agent.ini> (posted to ABCP) to a
fresh install of Agent V2.*. I am using that to post this info with so lets
see how that works :-)
The best I can make of the list view (you show) is the "view" is maybe set
to "Author".
To check that go to -->Group>Sort Messages>Status>
[tick] "Thread with Newest messages First"
As to posting?
Tell us what the error message you are getting says?
From those screens it appears you are on the correct path.
Also.. I have attached screens from the standard <agent.ini> for the eMail
setup.
I do not recommend using Agent for eMAil. The reasons (separately) are
complicated, what should concern poster is avoiding any setting which may
place their personal email messages into a newsgroup. Hence I recommend
disabling that function of Agent for newbies.
.. and a small tip?
Notice I have also RaR'd the screenshots?
Sometime a good idea as that small thing keeps the pix from being
recorded at http archive sites. No point in advertising everything we
(ABCP) do,, yes <g>
Lets see if this post works :-)
