I snipped what is an excellent piece of good work, Pixie.  
There is a danger Jean will do his usual and attempt diverting  
the history, yet again. In my opinion it is best to leave all of

Obviously there are folks here from the Netherlands and other LOTE  
countries who will simply out of language difficulty always be confused

What you have written well complements the succinct version of "cause"  
I offered.  
Where folks don't "get it" then best they be ignored.  
As said, there are too many well able to comprehend sense,
