You sound like one of the bozo's in the anime newsgroups who post
their stuff in 10bit MKV's that don't play on any hardware product
manufactured as of this date.  And they've been doing it for several
years now. The poster posted what was make available to him; it's the
group that produces the file that ought to be using a format usable by
Usenet users at large, not for his own in-house cadre if the intent is
general  scene distribution. Stick with current standards until
upcoming developments have devices suitable for their use. Everyone
else here does.
