The same thing has just happened to me. It appears that the US rights
to GBRJ are owned (or perhaps managed) by "CBS Studios Inc and
Showtime Networks Inc" and they are VERY aggressive about DMCA.
There's a clause in the Giganews DMCA user agreement (I forget the
exact location) that could be construed as allowing GN to punish
innocent bystanders like ourselves. I've disputed both posting bans
but have not had a response after two days. I don't have much hope to
be honest.

What are`you using? I signed up for a free-trial one-month account on
news.forteinc.com but that's just an Easynews feed which Forte Agent
markets and which I'm using in order to send this and similar
messages. I can still download files from GN and will continue to do
so until the end of the current billing cycle. After that I'm ditching
them unless the SOBs restore my posting privileges before then. I may
even do so in any case. I'm trying to decide where to go to. Eweka
looks good. Not least because they're based in Holland and are outside
the DMCA jurisdiction.
