I would also guess that any of the Scottish population that voted to
leave England in their Referendum would not have bothered to vote
either... thinking/knowing that it would be the ONLY way that they
would Ever get another chance at a 2nd Referendum.
Nicola Sturgeon stated it herself ! (in the event of BREXIT).
I wouldn't trust a 16 year old to go to the shop and come back with
the right item, never mind decide the fate of a country.
I was behind a couple of 15 year old looking (but obviously must have
been 18) 'Girls' going into the polling station on Thursday, I
overheard them saying to each other that they were 'Voting To Stay IN
The EU - To STOP 'Foreigners' Coming IN' !
IF 18 Year old's these days dont have a clue THEN imagine what damage
16 year old voters could do.
I was too young to vote last time around, this was My Time and I
voted. The 16 year old 'know it ALL - but don't know 'Shit' 'children
of today' can maybe have their vote after they have lived a bit and
know MORE than how a mobile phone and X-Box One work.
BTW... I have many years left on the clock yet, so its ALSO My
Future. I'm sick and tired of the future that was forced on me when
I was too young to vote.
