Actually, barely over half wanted it. If 16 year olds had been given
the vote, as in the Scottish referendum, and since it's their future
more than ours, it could easily hve gone the other way. Right now we
have a split country, with just under half thinking it's going to be
the 1950s again, around the same thinking they've been sold out by a
bunch of untrusting xenophobes and a small but crucial percentage
looking at all the financial turmoil and wondering WTF they voted out
for.
