Hey guys
You seem to be more up to date on computers than I am so I thought I
would ask you for some help. I have 2 P 4 socket 478 processors that I
need to get motherboards for, 1st one is a P4 socket 478 3.2ghz Intel
spec # SL6WG and the 2nd one also a P4 socket 478 3.4ghz Intel spec #
SL793 and I need to find a board that supports the full 800 fsb and
holds at least 4 gigs of memory.
I do have 2 Abit VT-7 socket 478 boards but they only support fsb of
533 if the processors have Northwood cores and both of mine do, also
the Abit boards have no onboard graphics which means that I would have
to start out buying a graphics board, which I would do with a board
that already had graphics but only later.
Any help would be appreciated. Those Geek Squad guys at Best Buy won't
help you on the phone, they want you to come in to the store and ask
