Scenario:
Slimers haunt a hotel and you have been hired to catch them. When you bust
one you earn $1000, receive another trap and then the next slimer appears.
You have only three traps, so use them wisely. Happy Haunting.
The 3D graphics, sound and ghostbusters theme are all excellent. The biggest
drawback to this game is that it just has one level. The controls are rather
ackward but they can be managed.
Catching a ghost:
This can take some doing, so enjoy the music while you practice.
Throw a trap (SPACE) a little before the ghost gets to you..
Put the ghost in your site (crosshairs) and fire (left mouse button or Ctrl)
your proton beam at it.
When you hit slimer with beam keep the fire button pressed.
Open (SPACE) the trap.
Then, you can steer (ADWS) him above the trap.
When the slimer is above the trap, release the fire button.
Options:
There are three otions for "screen resolution" but it is actually window
size because GhostBusters only runs in a window. However though, the window
is resizable, so you can make it any size that you wish. The other options
include music and sound volume levels. Nothing what-so-ever is saved, no
high score, no preferences.
Controls:
Mouse = Look up/down and turn left/right
Left Mouse Button = Fire proton beam
A/D = Turn left/right
W/S = Walk forward/back
Ctrl = Fire proton beam
Space = Throw trap (arrow shows for direction (stretching))
Space = Open trap
Esc = End game back to menu
If you have ever seen the movie Ghostbusters, then this game is sure to
bring back some fond memories.
