Scene 1. Mack of 7th Heaven is having a dream
about a holodeck scene aboard Voyager.
 Harry Kim enters the Holodeck.
Computer, Show when Microsoft went out of business.
Then Glenoak Community College appears.
 HARRY
I need help finding the computer science lab.
MACK
It is over there in CE 101.
HARRY
How come CS917 Assembler uses old 16-bit 8088 Assembley
language for old DOS in the 24th Century ??
MACK
It is only the 21st Century near the end of April
2009.
Microsoft never released its 32-bit binary
Applications programmer interface for 32-bit Windows
so traditional 16-bit DOS is still in the textbook.
 SCREECH
In summer of 2008 there was a Star Wars Movie ( Script )
that talked about SCIENCE FICTION WEBSITES that
already compiled C programs written for Windows onto Linux
XWindows. The claim of a replacement for the BINARY API
to run WINDOWS BINARY EXECUTABLE FILES on Linux was
considered to be just science fiction because there was
no documentation for the binary programming for Windows
runnable files yet. After being called just science fiction
those Linux websites that have been advocating running
Windows binary programs on top of Linux realized that they had
forgotten to release binary information and assembler
language programming information for Windows and then
published small and medium sized peices beginning Fall Semester
of 2008.
Finally, In Spring Semester of 2009 a test program
called a line number controlled text editor
was developed in 32-bit assembler language and after assembley
it runs on Windows 98.
 HARRY
How does it work ??
MACK
Every line of text is assigned an odd line number 1,3,5,7 etc
To replace a line simply overwrite it with another line
with the same odd number. If the most recent version
of a line is blank after a line number then that line
is deleted. Use even numbers to insert a line between
two odd numbered lines. Insertion and deletion change
line numbers so check progress with t 888889
 t followed
by the starting line number. Just t by itself prints the
next 8 lines on the screen.
Always use a number followed by one blank followed by a line
of text. The line number and folowing blank are not saved
The position of each line implies its calculated odd
line number.
Mack then closes the window of the ednumeri program by using
q
Then after the Window closes there is an unfamiliar desktop.
MACK
How come it says
wine ednumeri.exe
on that line on the terminal instead of just
ednumeri.exe
?
SCREECH
This is not genuine Microsoft Windows.
Even though ednumeri.exe was assembled into a Windows program
it was running on
Windows Imitation Natural Environment
that runs on Linux.
( Mack Starts crying )
I was hoping to star in a movie as Luke Skywalker
in Help Luke Skywalker Save Windows. I always thought that
Microsoft will be around forever.
HARRY
In this version of the future that I am in I never
heard of Luke Skywalker saving Windows in any movie and
I know about a lot of movies.
In 2009 a powerful hollywood scriptwriter who was angry
that motor vehicles including golf carts were driving
outside of the street all over the community college he
attended were endangering pedestrians and he got that test
program going to use line numbers to edit text in a assembler
language program ednumeri.asm
that assembled into ednumeri.exe for Windows and also
ran on that science fiction websites Windows imitator for
Linux so he proved that that science fiction is also science fact.
Windows applications programs really do run on free wine plus
free Linux. Microsoft went out of business just a few weeks
later.
Then Mack woke up.
 (Scene 2 on Earth)
JIMMY
Mack, Whats for breakfast?
MACK
leftover chicken from yesterday.
I had a bad dream last night that Microsoft is going
out of business in a few days. Golf carts at community
colleges drive outside of the street and repestedly
threaten pedestrians and pedestrians are fighting back
against the establishment by halping free Linux
compete with AND WIPE OUT MICROSOFT!!
JIMMY
Ask the teachers who like Windows whether they wish
that they would have lobbied the administration
to halt all driving outside of the street TWO WEEKS AGO
so that that thing that enables Windows applications programs
to run on Linux could have remained imaginary science
fiction instead of recently proven real by an elaborate
assembler language test program pushed through a difficult
development process by one angry pedestrian.
