Well I was right. It IS too painful to watch ... and the tropical
rendition of the theme song is equally nauseating.

Our craftspeople look foolish treating cue-card reading
islanders like intellectual equals, but that would be
the whole point of the exercise.

I skipped the 2nd, but on this 3rd segment of the
series, they're spending most of the time in shorts
touring civilization just as I suspected they would.

It was more than obvious to me by the look on
everyone's face that the roach motel enthusiasm has
dissipated and that they're all ready to go home.

In fact, at the close of the show, Norm mentioned that
"much of the work will be completed after we're gone".

Well, I can only speculate as to what he meant to imply
by that statement, but I have a distinct feeling it
means they're not planning to stick around because of the worst
ratings in TOH history!

Yes, in my view, this was a mistake ... a BIG one that fans aren't
likely to forgive for quite awhile, even with an excellent new front
man. I'm sure they've received a ton of fuck-you mail over it too.

They even referred to some primate stuffing conduit into the channel
of a cement wall of the project dump as a "master electrician".
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Kevin thoughtfully coached the speechless clod, and
just like Rich did with his cesspool "plumber", looked like he
couldn't wait to distance himself from the
whole nasty scene before he busted out laughing from
the absurdity of it.

I don't blame them either, because that's just what I'm
doing to This Old House until someone figures out that
running water and cutting rocks are NOT new inventions.
