Just make sure you abstain from risky behaviors for 6 months, and get tested
again to make sure. If a person get a negative result, it means one of two
things:
A) The person is HIV-
B) The person might have been recently infected with HIV and are in their
window period, a period that lasts for about 2 weeks, when the body has the
virus, but hasn't made the antibodies for it (Meaning the ANTIBODY test
can't find any)
Also, wear a condom. It's 98% effective when used with a water based
lubricant and used correctly.
