Sorry, it had not occurred to me that yEnc would be a problem. If you are
not sure about the different systems of encoding binary posts for Usenet, I
suggest you take a look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/YEnc. This gives an
overview of the differences.
Looking again at your message headers, I see you are using free Agent which
does not decode yEnc. Many, if not most, Usenet posts are now in yEnc and
you will neet to get a new newsreader to decode them.
First things first. I have reposted PP in in an encoding which free agent
will handle and I will repost the tutorial so that you can see it. But, the
version of PP I have sent only supports yEnc posting so you won't be able
to read your binary posts until you get a new newsreader!
Now, once I had given up using Outlook Express as my newsreader, many years
ago, I downloaded a free newsreader called Xnews. Since it is the only one
I have ever used, it is the only one I can recommend, but some find it too
complicated. If you want to give it a try, I can post for you with a
tutorial to get you started. Tell me what you think.
