Jack, you can ask ad nauseum, but if noone has an answer, you're not
too likely to get one. You're using a Mac. Very few in these parts do.
As a consequence, not much help is available.
I also find it curious that none of TT's posts appear on the EN
webside. There's even an entire day missing, and yet, everything else
seems to be there. However, all of his posts *are* on the NNTP server.
Already having the vids, I haven't been downloading; however, as a
result of your request, I've done some sampling using EN, and I'm
finding that every part is there, intact and complete. The problem is
not with TT's posts, nor is it with EN. It's between you, your Mac,
and Newswatcher.
The posts in question are what are called "multipart" posts; i.e.,
part 001 consists of a (1/3), (2/3), and (3/3). Same goes for part
002, etc. Those 3 segments have to be downloaded and combined to
produce the complete part, and I'm just guessing that this is the
source of your problem. Most newsreaders do this automatically.
Whether Newswatcher does so or not, I haven't a clue. I would think it
should. Otherwise, it'd be a pretty pitiful excuse for a newsreader.
Your best bet for help, if reading the help files and/or documentation
doesn't do it, is to ask the developer of your software, or even post
the question in one of the Mac support groups. What you need is
direction in using the program to download and combine multipart
postings. It's less than likely that you'll find such help here.
