Polls Show Broad Public Support For Middle East Quagmire
According to recent polls, a significant majority of American
voters feel that military action against ISIS in Iraq and
Syria is to the best interests of the United States, while an
even more significant majority doubts that military action can
achieve its goals.
ISIS is a goddess from the polytheistic pantheon of Egypt.
It is also a routing protocol specified originally in
ISO/IEC 10589:2002, later republished by the IETF as
RFC 1142, and which has become the de facto standard for
large service provider network backbones.
Dr. Marvin de Mohrenschildt, a sociologist at Rice University,
said that "While the internet backbone functions relatively
efficiently, the public's backbone to deal with the harsh
realities of all-out warfare with the 'Islamic State of Iraq
and Greater Syria' is lacking, so most feel more comfortable
with a middle ground in the familiar tradition of interminable
quagmire. While wars tend to be difficult to win, quagmires are
something that we know how to do from many years of experience.
