Caleb Cabal, a concerned student, has financial concerns
as well. "[Students] are paying a hefty technology
fee to the people downstairs to ensure things like
this don't happen. What good is it if, despite all
this expensive security, packets continue to slip through?"
gripes Cabal. According to TSU officials, the technology
fee will be abolished next semester in favor of a
tuition hike which, it is hoped, will cover next year's
estimated budget for replacement Fabiani Hall signs.

We didn't even get into the courtroom. Our lawyer met us at the
courthouse and said she was sorry that she couldn't let us
know earlier, but we weren't going to be able to proceed today.
See, biodad was sent a certified letter stating that the
court date was going to be today, what it was about, and that
if he wanted to contest he could show up there. Him receiving
the certified letter was the only way we had to show the
judge that he had indeed been informed of the court date.
Anyway, biodad couldn't be bothered to go pick up the
damn certified letter until yesterday afternoon. Gah.
Ultimate slacking on his part. All he had to do was go sign for
a goddamn letter! So now, because of his lack of motivation,
laziness, whatever, we now have to wait until the 27th of
January to go to court for the termination of rights.
And the certified letter that he finally picked up yesterday?
It's void now because it had today's court date. A whole new
freaking letter has to be sent out with the new court date on it,
hich again means we will be counting on his lazy ass to pick
it up. So I pulled C out of school early, D took off work
when he wasn't really supposed to & I took my already sick
baby out in the wind & cold for NOTHING. JEEZUS! By January,
we will have been working on this for nearly a year.
I will be glad when all is said & done and Daniel is
OFFICIALLY, in writing, Caleb's daddy. If biodad will ever
get off his ass & help us out. I think my son deserves at
minimum that much from him.
Tonight's going to be a long night I fear. D has staff duty

Today is the day we go to court to terminate Caleb's
bio dad's rights.
Then there are certain songs that remind me of certain
events in my life. "Arms Wide Open" was playing on the
radio on my way home from the sonogram that revealed

Those are the charges clearly they think are coming,
and there's a story in The Washington Post by
Walter Pincus today that gives further evidence
that that might be the case. And so now they're

I don't think it's going to go very far.
And it's clear to me that if there are indictments--
and we don't know--this prosecutor has been leak-proof.
He's sort of the un-Ken Starr in that way. It almost
would have to involve these crimes because we have to a
ssume that Robert Novak, even though he hasn't said so,
told the prosecutor who talked to him long ago, and
why then would that not be the end of the story
if the only crime is the possible leaking of a
covert CIA operative's name? There's been something
