Catch me, on the ends of a novel
Which I have read, many times
The story changes slowly
If there more, left to go
People see everything different
Although its not always on view
Like playing cards in a sand pit
Where the rain drops now due
Cover this, my world before the flood
Move these, clumps of clay
Build a river, in the midst of love
Plant another seed, watch it grow
We all are little children
Trying to find our best way

Children know the inns and outs
Still there children anyway
