The drugs prevent
Pressure in my blood
It keeps my pressure down
It baptizes me
Cleanses me
Keeps me clean
The drugs have me hooked on it
It keeps my blood pressure down
But it keeps me coming back for more
Of which without I would die
It makes me feel like God
To get so high
From the morphine I had last month
That pleasure keeps on reminding me
To come back for more..
To shackle me in chains
For this thing
If I didn't have it
I would steal, kill, or just about anything for it..
Without my drug
My blood pressure is high
I can't live without it
So I might as will say
I can't live with it..
And something in me says
Help me come closer to God
Until the drugs fail to work
And I am stuck on this habit
Neither feeling anything
Not that I want it
But because I need it..
I find the need to separate
As everytime I do it
It grows harder to do it..
