This is a "known issue" with the AOL USENET newsgroups
interface [which means most of the 'frequent flyers' in USENET
using AOL newsreader know about it, but no one at AOL is
doing anything about it just yet.] <g>...
I've forwarded a copy of the error popup screen to the
AOL Tech Support team that deals with USENET newsgroups.
[It is happening to everyone on AOL that accesses newsgroups
via the AOL software, not just those who read alt.multimedia.tk ].
I have a feeling it is [once again] beta related as was the last
PC user [Windows] problem of being unable to post to NGs
using the offline reader. Being that may be the case, I'm bound
by confidentiality non-disclosure agreements from commenting
further than to say they are aware of what's going on and are
attempting to correct this repeatable error.
Be advised it took AOL 4 1/2 months to fix MAC downloading
problem and 6 weeks to fix the PC-based PFC posting problem
the last time around...
