When someone takes a law against sex toys - which are legally sold as
"novelties" but illegal as "sex toys" - and tries to argue that this
is a law against the object and not an attempt to curb an act, in this
case masturbation, then it's pretty clear that person either does not
understand the intent of that law or is trying to obfuscate.
