I agree that the whole corporate takeover idea is a exciting concept and I
too would love to see Hard Heroes make it into a continuing series. But I
really love Brad's suggestion that The Hand is really the evil brain from
"Mind Control". Just before he was destroyed by Silverback and Bam-Bam, he
took refuge in one of the bodies of The Power of Four (possibly either the
weakened Cross or Falcon, preferably Cross a.k.a. Jimmy Dean), secretly
switching their mind with his before his alien form was ripped to pieces.
Then he returned to Earth in the body of his new human host to get his
revenge on all of the Hard Heroes and turn our planet into his new base of
operations, using his newly-created Hard Heroes puppets to help him rule
the world. Not only would this give us the eagerly-awaited next chapter of
"Mind Control", but also an entire Hand series that the fans are asking
for, not to mention the return of Jimmy Dean! Ingenious idea really!
