Would please tell me if the following sentence is acceptable (in lyrics -
not written or spoken language)

"[...] getting wet inside out [...]"

meannig: getting wet completely, thoroughly. I'd like to avoid "getting wet
from the inside out" - because it's too long and does not fit rythmically in
the song.
