THE FOUR DRAGONS ARE UNLEASHED!
The World of Warcraft's newest content update includes all new
quest-based objectives in the mysterious Silithus, improved Feral
talents for Druids, and a cataclysm of titanic proportions that
threatens the entire world! The four dragons have arrived, and their
agenda of destruction may affect more than just Azeroth, but possibly
the very fabric of reality itself...
Silithus: The terror that crawls...
A fell power festers beyond the mysterious Un'Goro Crater. Reports of
giant insects with a malignant agenda filter in from both sides of
the Azerothian conflict. The question remains, however: what force is
guiding these despicable abominations? In patch 1.8, Silithus writhes
to putrid life with tons of new content including a new quest hub in
the form of Cenarion Hold. Adventurers wily and crazy enough to
venture into this crawling slum of madness will meet significant
challenges in the form of all new outdoor instanced events and solo,
group, and raid-level content. Square off against the wholly vile
Twilight's Hammer Cult and uncover the secret strings pulled by cruel
extra-planar elementals. Given the onrushing tide of swarming creeps,
the Cenarion Circle is requesting the aid of all heroes, both Horde
and Alliance, in beating them back into their festering dens.
Druids: Unleashed feral abilities!
Those playing the Druid class may have noticed some intriguing new
gifts from the Emerald Dream. The power of the wild flows through the
Druid, and new tweaks to the Feral power set illustrate the untamed
bestiality that has lain dormant within nature's greatest allies.
Also added to the Druid's bag of tricks is an entirely new shapeshift
form called the Moonkin. Taking the form of raging Owl-beasts, Druids
are now able to cast spells from the Balance talent set while in this
shape and can draw directly on the powers of the forest to fell their
enemies. Look for further alterations to each of World of Warcraft's
classes in future patch releases!
Four Dragons: Ancient and deadly
Emerging from the shifting shroud of the Emerald Dream, Ysera, the
great Dreaming dragon Aspect, leads her host of scaly subjects in an
assault on Azeroth. Perverted by an interloping yet mysterious force
present in the Emerald Dream itself, Ysera and the rest of the green
dragonflight have burst from the Great Trees of Azeroth, but to what
purpose? Only cruelty and terror seem to be their aim. Four monstrous
dragons have arrived in secluded areas of Ashenvale, Duskwood,
Feralas, and the Hinterlands to spread hatred and despair throughout
the land. Ysera's lieutenants (soul-capturing Lethon, putrid and foul
Emeriss, and ghostly Taerar) are poised to wreak a destructive havoc
which poses a threat to the very life force of Azeroth! Players
hoping to conquer these foes must be prepared for their awesome
power, but the rewards to the stalwart band tough enough to defeat
the four are extraordinary, never-before-seen weapons and armor that
distinguish wearers as mighty champions of
Azeroth.

PARTY ETIQUETTE: KNOW YOUR ROLE
Participating in a group is very different from soloing, so Insider
thought it might be nice to go over some tips for good group
dynamics. First and foremost, communication is the hallmark of
effective parties. Making sure that party members' concerns are
addressed is the responsibility of the party leader. To make things
easier on everyone, discuss what party expectations are (like which
quests are to be undertaken and what loot to look for) before setting
out. This is especially important when looting rare or better items,
and a good way to decide who gets what is to base it on what class of
items each player can use. For example: priests, warlocks, and mages
are going to be rolling on cloth armor and other caster necessities,
it would be rude for a mail-wearer to roll on such items (some
caveats exist in this rule, like enchanters who need rare items to
advance in their profession, but this is another good reason to
discuss it beforehand). In the event that a party decides
that it's best to leave it to sh
eer chance, there's always the handy /roll command which returns a
number between 0 and 100.

ON THE HORIZON: THE GATES OF AHN'QIRAJ
In the next enthralling episode of World of Warcraft entitled "The
Gates of Ahn'Qiraj", players can expect new revelations in the search
for the origins and intentions of the Silithid. Comprising two
massive raid instances (20 and 40 player flavors), Ahn'Qiraj presents
a daunting challenge for entire realms as the Gates shall demand
hefty compensation for access to the treasures and trials beyond.
Also, Blizzard continues to improve and refine queueing techniques in
the Battlegrounds. Players will now be able to enter multiple
Battleground queues at the same time! That means that you could run
Warsong Gulch and capture flags to your heart's content while waiting
for slots to become available in Alterac Valley or Arathi Basin.
