thanks for your thoughtful comments.
the silence over the last few weeks led me to think that most servers may
have dropped aft - obviously that is not the case, and it is more the
reasons as outlined in your reply.
i can see now why most posters just give it away - too many people want to
take, and not enough people want to give.
