There is method to my madness. Giganews dumped retromod. Easynews dumped prettyboy. They both
dumped a whole lot of others, which had mostly just become spam groups anyway.
So in our groups, I'm just preaching to the choir about the oppressive nature of these two conglomerates.
But maybe there's an upside. The groups that they won't carry, aren't flooded by spam either.
The boy-group users have already moved to the smaller independent servers- like Astraweb.
Astraweb hasn't dumped our groups, because they know they would lose us as customers.
But they did seem rather pro-active against one of our previous prolific posters.
I'm uploading my entire collection of HQ mixed movies to a group that neither Giga nor Easy carries, to
make the girl-group habitants aware of what they did to us.
I got these from one of our other PW'd boy groups, and you all probably have them already. But still feel like
you should be invited to the party, just in case.
My uplink is slow. I won't post here again for a couple weeks, when I have them all uploaded. Then I will
just post the thumbs, and a list of passwords.
I won't crosspost again. Even though I feel that hiding group names and keeping passwords secret is
as effective as talking pig-latin in 3rd grade class..
