Hey Fortsters,
Michael Jackson was both confused and misunderstood. Without question
he was obsessed with boys, from that perspective he was one of us. I'm
no psychoanalyst, and I don't know everything there was to know about
MJ, but I think that the hole at the core of his psyche came from the
missing love of his father. Michael Jackson was a commodity to his
Father, so were his brothers, but it was clear early on that Michael
had the most talent and charisma. Those kids were driven externally by
their father and if stories are true, the Jackson family was
dysfunctional in the extreme. Michael never had a chance at 'normal'.
I believe Michael yearned for the fatherly love he never got as a
child. My theory is: he sought to give that to boys he befriended
later in adulthood. He clearly wanted to be a father, but by the time
he adopted them he was too far gone into has fantasy world to be an
effective parent. It didn't take long for his interest in boys to
become sexualized. There is no question in my mind that MJ did all
that he was accused of and much more. His Neverland Ranch was purely a
seduction zone. What boy wouldn't want to spend a weekend there with
his favorite idol?
His self perception and worldview of boylove was surreal. This was
never more evident than in his long form video in which the parents of
boys are afraid he is a monster and the boys come to his defense. The
BEAUTIFUL boys come to his defense. It was a multimillion dollar wet
dream for MJ.
His talent and ability made him a global superstar, one of the biggest
ever. The money and fame allowed him to bend rules and create an
insular fantasy world that Americans couldn't understand. He was the
butt of jokes in this country, which is sad. If he'd had a normal
life, he might have found The Fort and realized that he wasn't alone.
I actually posted to him a couple of times, hoping he'd be plugged in.
Several mutual friends who knew him personally told me that Michael
was surprisingly not technically competent.
In truth, he DID know he wasn't alone, and in fact, often spent time
with BLs in the highest stratas of society. Everything you heard and
suspected about MJ and a certain blonde child actor is true. MC, if
YOU'RE out there and one of us, I'd love to talk to you too. It is no
coincidence that Michael removed himself from America and planted
himself in a wealthy Arab country. It was all about unquestioned
access to boys. He had connections, as you might expect, and everyone
looked the other way.
And now he's dead and from all indications he shouldn't be. He was
apparently mishandled every bit as poorly as his late father-in-law,
Elvis, once was. I was never a big fan of Michael Jackson's music, but
I tried to understand him as a human being. I have a lot of empathy
for what he endured and why. I wish I could have helped him.
And in the end we all have to admit, for all of his eccentricity, boys
loved him. For some reason, boys especially loved him. He was one of
us.
