Solomon's Private File #376
These stories about Stephen and Solomon take place starting in
1950's. Stephen wrote about his life in letters to a penpal, and then
in a secure blog, in case he lost his memory again, in the master
computer in his school for gifted students, which he started attending
in 2016 in a new incarnation, until his death. Now his son Solomon is
attending the same school, and is writing in his own secure blog for
his future incarnations.
All characters are fictitious, even if some of them might have names
that belong to some actual people, or act like people we know.
Solomon is 32 in this story, in the Fall of 2058.
Solomon's Private File #376 "Hard Shells In Circus Space"
START Page
I said to the hard shelled students from the Circus dimension, at
Rang's school, "Do you think it's time to go back to your own worlds
and start your school?" One said, "We do!" I said, "If you want to
change into one of your kind." One said, "Can you delay that? You do
look very strange to us, but we can't care about that. Your hugs!" I
grinned, and said, "Not as noisy?" He said, "Yes! We don't hug each
other. It just doesn't work with us. But with you soft skinned people,
million?" They made strange noises, and poked me a little. We hugged.
I said, "Where would you like your school?" One said, "On an
astroid?" I said, "No. You need air and ground space in order to
practice PK and 4th things. And NOT behind a shield that would
interfere. While you can have a porting center anywhere, the place the
teachers are ported to, must not be so they can know where it is. And
they're going to ask. Better have some truth to tell them." One said,
"So, on Center planet, on an island?" I said, "And so other people
won't see it, or even go near it. Like Rang's school. You might be a
little familiar with that." More noises. One said, "You can be very
frustrating!" I said, "Thank you." Chuckles.
I ported us there. They looked around, and said a lot of wows. It was
something like what I had done for the circus kids, but more in the
local styles. I said, "Facility has an AI computer, and it's connected
to the net." One said, "Could you make it connect to the other school?"
I said, "I could, but not in real time. Too much time differential. Not
worth the trouble. If you need to communicate, I can relay. Yes, I
maintain a presence in this dimension." He said, "So you know all in
it." I said, "Yes. Fat mind. Here's sets of crystals for you. I'll go
get my contact here." I changed into one of their species. They usually
decorate their hard exoskeleton with inlays and enameling. I had my
father's compound S symbol on my carapace in glowing micro-faceted
colored diamond. They had loud wows for that. I said, "Have to. Going
to meet planetary governments. They won't look at me if I don't have
some decoration that denotes status. You can use different illusions
for that, with regular people. I'll be meeting other Adepts, so it's
better I use the real thing, and I can, with different bodies. Yes,
convenient." Grins.
I called the Adept I had met before, and then shifted to his office.
He had to say wow, too. I said, "You people value indications of
status. This is my father's symbol. He's now part of God." He said,
"That's REAL status." We grinned. I said, "Shall we port to the new
school?" He said, "Where is it?" I said, "On this planet, but it can
only be known by the people who are there, and that only by porting.
More than that, is the decision of the teachers there to say." He
stood, and I ported us there. He had a lot more wows to give during the
tour. Then he and I ported to a room in the government center building,
and then walked to the Deputy Coordinator's office. He was a male, as
all official leaders are female, but don't actually do much. I had my
aura visible then. He was totally astounded.
I said to him, "I didn't know I was so ugly." He made a strange
noise, and said, "You're not ugly to me, but very unusual. I know
that's an aura, but why can I see yours, and not that of others?" I
said, "It's because mine is so much bigger and stronger than that of
other people, that all can see it, if I don't block it." My companion
said, "You can block it?" Mine went out. He said, "Now you have no aura
at all! That's impossible!" I said, "Not for me." I showed it again. I
said to him, "I think you might not want to say what's impossible, in
regard to me, or that word is going to feel very abused." He laughed. I
said, "My students are laughing, too. I am known so well for my odd
humor, that I'm recognized no mater what form I take." He said,
Coordinator was fascinated.
He said, "Are you some kind of advanced Guardian?" I said, "I am the
Master Guardian for all time and spaces. I offer you a service. My
students will heal all on a planet at the same time, in a love
broadcast. I will do the first one for each planet, and they will do
the rest, four times a year. It causes some distraction while it's
happening, so it should be scheduled." My companion said, "As I am
unable to lie, so is Solomon." Coordinator said, "This healing, have
you seen him do it?" Guardian said, "I have. He healed the sense of
smell in an old male, and although not mentioned, he healed the old
breaks in the male's chitin." He said me, "How is that possible?" I
said, "Eh, very carefully. I can't really explain it so you will
understand. What do you know about God?" He said, "I think I understand
something. You work for God?" I said, "I do, and He will aid in the
healing." He said, "Would you demonstrate it here and now?" I said, "I
would not have respected you, if you hadn't asked. Yes." He looked at
me strangely.
I said, "When you're ready. Both of you will feel it." He said, "I am
ready." I started a local love broadcast, and God came in and did the
healing, and said, "Solomon is my Senior Agent for all time and spaces,
to love and obey him, is to love and obey me. We are Truth!" He left. I
said, "He loves to embarrass me!" I waited for them to recover. They
looked at themselves, and all the glue repairs were gone, and their
chitin was like new. Even some of the decorations were repaired. He
said, "Your students. Will I meet them?" I said, "How much they want
themselves to be known, is their decision. Until then, their identities
will remain a secret. And so must mine." He said, "As it is with our
Guardians. Will you be accepting more students?" I said, "They will, as
they choose, and that must also be secret, but they may need some
assistance in dealing with the parents, and convincing them of the need
for secrecy. Here's one of the contracts. They are ready to select the
current year students for this planet now. I see your question. About
one in a billion per generation will qualify, and they determine that.
No, I won't tell you where the school is. No, I'm not reading your
mind. I'm not new to this."
Guardian said, "I've been to the school, but I don't know where it
is. It's amazing!" I said, "Thank you." He said to me, "You made it?" I
said, "Yes, a few minutes before I met with you today. Oh, careful with
that word!" He almost strangled. I said to the Coordinator, "I request
official documents I can present to the Coordinators of the other
planets that will help them to bypass that er, word, and accept what I
will tell them." He said, "I will provide them. Will your students be
doing other things for us?" I said, "What Guardians do, they will, when
that can be done mostly in secret. They will not interfere in
societies, except possibly where that harms children. One thing they
will be very useful in, is when you someday encounter another
intelligent species. They can talk mind to mind, and learn languages in
seconds." He said, "I understand. That will be VERY helpful!" I said,
"We think so."
Guardian said to me, "You can take other forms. Have you students of
other species?" I said, "I do. No, I won't tell you about them. It
would interfere with your society. I know, frustrating. I hear that a
lot, after 'wow', and 'I didn't think of that'." Grins. I said, "One
more thing. My students are not ruled by me. They determine what they
should do for their people, not me. After the introductory healing
broadcasts, I will probably not have more interactions with you and
your people." He said, "They won't rule us?" I said, "True Guardians
don't rule. My students are unable to lie or act unjustly, and they
monitor each other, to be sure of that." Guardian said to me, "And you
monitor them." I said, "I didn't ask you to be so intelligent." He
laughed.
I said, "We will need a high security building in this city as our
transportation terminal. To others, it could be our school, but to go
inside it, is to be transported instantly to our school." I nodded to
my friend, who said, "They can teleport." He said, "Wow!" I said, "I
expected that." Chuckles. I said, "We can pay for the building, but not
for the security status." He said, "We'll set that up. Will they
protect our planets from attack?" I said, "We do not allow interstellar
war." He said, "Good! Your students will have our full support!" Friend
said, "Please call me when the papers are ready, and the healings are
scheduled and announced." I said, "Then things will become more
interesting." Grins. Coordinator said, "Different forms. What is your
usual one?" I said, "That word will really get a lot of work for that.
Sure you want to know?" He smiled, and said, "Please?" I said, "I can
take any form I want to, or none at all. No, I'm the only one who is
like this. But not one. There are millions of me out there and working.
Best not to spread that around, if you don't want to be laughed at." He
said, "Yes!"
I said to my friend, "Where would you like to be?" He said, "I will
stay here." I said, "You want to see how he reacts to the way I leave."
Grins. I said, "When I travel by myself, I don't usually teleport. I
just destroy the body where I no longer need it. How I do it, and how
much I allow it to be witnessed, depends on what my mission deems
useful. Sometimes I just vanish. Or fade away, or evaporate. The way
didn't expect that?" Chuckles. I said, "This is not an illusion. It's
real, as you know reality, which is not as I know it." I bowed, and
then transformed into a big ball of light, and then faded away. There
were astounded, as expected. My students were all grins.
At the school, one said to me, "You have other students here. Were
any of them at our school?" I said, "I didn't actually say that. Just
that I had students of other species, not where they are from. Rang's
school is full of them, from a lot of galaxies and dimensions. And I'm
not going to tell you if any others were from here. Any species here
that discovers another should be allowed to do that naturally,
themselves. No, don't interfere, except when it happens, to aid. You
know what you should do." They pouted, until that made them laugh. I
shifted to my human form, and we hugged.
The arrangements were made like they were with the Circus people. I
did all the first love and healing broadcasts, and my students did the
others. They have a lot of students now, with as much trouble getting
them as usual, which I had to help with. There was a lot of public
speculation about who was doing the broadcasts, but that didn't help
anybody to find out. They probably wouldn't believe the truth, which
the students thought was funny. Well, it is.
Then a neuter, the mother of one of the new students, said their boy
was doing the broadcast. I said to her, "You lied. He isn't doing
anything but studying. He isn't able to do a broadcast, and won't be
able to for at least three years." It said, "I don't care. I want to be
famous." I said, "Oh, you will be, as a fool and a liar. You were told
that if you exposed us, or your son, or interfered with the school in
any way, he would be expelled. Is that what you wanted to happen?" She
said, "I don't care." I said in command mode, "You will not say that
any person is a member of that school, or doing a broadcast. You will
not interfere in that school in any way. If you are asked about your
claim about the boy and the broadcast, or the school, you will say you
lied. You will not speak or act in any way that could cause a problem
for any of your children, the teachers, or me, and you will have as
little contact as possible with them. So you have heard, so you will
obey!" She was very annoyed with me. I didn't feel bad about that.
I visited the school in the Circus Empire. Some of the new students
hadn't met me, and were in awe. My original students grinned a lot. We
did a LOT of hugs! Then I met with the four. I said, "Our Guardian
friend is about to leave us." One said, "We should be with him!" We
ported to his home, after asking permission. He said, "This is
unexpected." I said, "Good!" He laughed, and had to catch his breath.
Then he looked odd, and said, "This is my time." I said, "It is. We
will NOT let you go alone!" We all hugged him. He was in a sea of love,
and died with a beautiful smile on his face. We hoped we would see him
reincarnated into one of our students. I think it might happen.
