Solomon's Private File #313
These stories about Stephen and Solomon take place starting in
1950's. Stephen wrote about his life in letters to a penpal, and then
in a secure blog, in case he lost his memory again, in the master
computer in his school for gifted students, which he started attending
in 2016 in a new incarnation, until his death. Now his son Solomon is
attending the same school, and is writing in his own secure blog for
his future incarnations.
All characters are fictitious, even if some of them might have names
that belong to some actual people, or act like people we know.
Solomon is 30 in this story, in the Spring of 2056.

I said to the four students of the Circus Empire, "Got jobs waiting.
Want them?" They said, "Yes!" I said, "Oh, what a surprise!" Laughter.
I said, "It's not going to be easy. You can't come back here. A day
here, is twelve there." One said, "One of us could be gone that long,
and not cause problems." I said, "Only a day for sexplay?" They
laughed. I said, "You actually can't come back on your own. I would
have to port you. If I'm not there, how would you ask for that?" One
said, "We know you. You never left all the way." I said, "I don't think
you'e supposed to argue effectively with me." Chuckles. I said, "Some
locals there know something about us. We have to decide who meets who
to set things going. And we have to decide where the school will be,
and build it. We also have to have government support for teachers.
It's going to be work!" One said, "We know it. Government won't work
well with kids."
I said, "That depends on where the school will be. Four choices.
Imperial planet. King and Head of Security will support us all the way.
Well, after we tell them." Grins. I said, "Problem. Security is tight.
Hard to conceal a school there. Zibriskon. My personally enhanced
Guardian will support, but their regular Guardians are more useful than
others, and might get in the way. Sumner. While a part of the Empire,
they're still not thought of as being fully of it, but great Guardians.
Problem is the gravity. We can fix that for the school, but it would be
a little too obvious to brought in teachers. GP. Imperial Agent there
has a bromance with me." Grins. I said, "Useless Guardians, and lots of
places for a school. Again high gravity."
One said, "How are those of the other planets able to live on the hi
G worlds?" I said, "Unless born there, badly. They just don't do it.
Also helps to have been from one of the founding fathers and mothers.
Natural selection is very useful. Umm, you know I can see your
mindtalk." One said, "Oops!" We chuckled. One said, "We request to see
if we can do it on Zibriskon, first. Less likely Imperials will want to
interfere." One said, "Did we get it right?" I grinned and said, "Yes."
They looked at her. She said, "You know he planned all of this." One
said, "Oh, he was testing us." Nods. She said, "And before you ask,
we're going to have life watches on the important people." I said,
"What about after I ask?" Growls. Grins. She said, "Love and healing
broadcasts, too. You will have to set that up." I said, ''I was
thinking I would do the first one, and ask God NOT to speak in it. I
used my real name there before. Hmm, He agrees." They looked at me in
awe. I said, "Hey, none of that! I'm just your teacher with the strange
humor." Grins.
I said, "Don't go all strange now, but I might have to use you for
proof. I can't show who I really am, because I'm really not. If I show
them who I used to be, all the half psionics and above on the planet
will feel awfully strange." Grins. I said, "Not guessing. Did it on
Sumner." Bigger grins. I sighed, and they chuckled. I said, "Ready to
be squirted over there?" They were, and then they looked around the
inside of a palatial er, palace. I said, "Don't step on any loose
eyeballs. Eh, if only Hawk were here." Grins. I said, "This is just
temporary. Why make junk?" One said, "Couldn't agree more." I said her,
"They did." She snorted, "Competition!" Chuckles. I said, "This
location is off regular traffic lanes. An island. Wasn't here before. I
built up an old seamount. Satellites can't see it." She said, "Could
this be our school?" I said, "If you want it, sure, but you'd have to
port in teachers. And I would have to make it bigger. No, not those
right now. Can't you think of anything else?" Big laughter, and hugs.
I knocked on the door of the old Guardian. He knew who was there, and
opened the door with a big grin. Without a word, he beckoned me inside.
We sat. I said, "I could say it's good to see you again, but I never
actually stopped seeing in this galaxy. It's still good, anyway." He
grinned, and said, "I feel the same. But with different hands." I
looked at him strangely, and said, "Have you been taking strange humor
lessons?" He said, "Yes I have!" Grins. I said, "My students sure won't
hate you for that." He said, "I'm glad. They're here?" I said, "They
are, in a temporary house I built for them. We need to decide on a
location for the school. There will be just one for the Empire, and
that's on this planet. If we can do it right. We also have a list of
qualified possible students. We should talk to the GG. Your opinion of
her?" He said, "Not good. She has little awareness, and doesn't believe
other people can have more. Would be afraid of them, actually." I said,
"Then we'll do it the Imperial way. I'm still a Red Agent. She won't
have to know why." Grins. He made an appointment with the Highest
Imperial on the planet.
In his home office, I said, "I'm setting up a special school for
advanced Guardians. I've been told the local GG isn't right for
knowledge of this." He said, "Does the Crown know about this?" I said,
"Your predecessor gave you a coded message. May I give you the access
code to it?" He got ready to write it down. Then he typed it into his
terminal, and gasped. He said, "YOU are Solomon?" I said, "I can take
any shape I need to." I changed into my former GP Circus self, and he
was even more surprised. I changed back. The Guardian said, "That
wasn't an illusion. He really did change, and no, I have no idea how
that could be possible. His atoms actually rearranged themselves! I
don't know how they didn't take half the city with him in a big
explosion." I said to the Admiral, "No, I'm the only one who can do
that. No, I'm not reading your mind. I'm er, not the average Guardian.
There is one Master Guardian for each galaxy. Our friend here was, for
this one. Oh, he didn't know he was the most powerful, until my
students of your people arrived. Interesting. As for me, I'm the er,
Supreme Master Guardian for all spaces and time. I have one Superior,
who I work directly for." He said, "Who could that possibly be?" I
said, "The Supreme Being." He said, "Oh! That explains it." I said, "I
should tell you that I'm doing this on all the planets of the Empire,
at mostly the same time, where the schedules of my contacts permit. I
er, don't just choose bodies, I also choose as many as I want."
He said, "I will need the Approval of the Crown." I said,
"Absolutely. But perhaps I could tell you I was given permanent Red
Agent status." He looked at the Guardian, who smiled, and said, "Full
Guardians can't lie. The Supreme Master? Completely impossible!" Nods.
He said, "Do you know my age?" Admiral said, "Yes. Remarkably long
life." He said, "It's not natural. Solomon required me to be present
for the arrival of his students." I said, "I do not do that unnatural
thing but for critical to the species reasons." He said, "I see you are
still a Red Agent in truth. Duty to the species above all else." I
nodded.
I said, "We will become known. My people can heal others. We offer to
do that for all the worlds of the Empire. I'm not talking about
individuals here, but ALL on each planet, at the same time, and that
will include replacement of missing body parts, four times a year, on
set schedules. It's a little distracting. Don't need to compound pilot
error. Yes, I can do it for a small group to prove it." He said, "How
do you know what I'm thinking, if you aren't reading my mind?" I said,
"You would think more of me than I'm comfortable with, if I tell you,
and you believed me." He said, "Please." I said, "I have advanced since
I was first here. God sees and knows all. You accept that?" He said,
"Yes." I said, "People say that, but they usually don't. He knows ALL.
All matter and energy. All thoughts. All memories, even the past
incarnation of the people." He said, "And you are like that for this
world?" I said, "For each galaxy in which I have a presence. Yes,
that's a lot of all. Thousands of galaxies at the moment, and
increasing with each new thing God commands me to do. I am his Senior
Agent." He said, "Wow!" I said, "I hear that a lot. More polite
language than some of your peers." He had to laugh.
A document and coded media card appeared in my hands. I said, "From
the Emperor, through the Head of Imperial Security. Yes they know I can
do this, and more. I knew their parents. That sword was from me." He
said, "Oh! Thank you for that. Wonderful gift!" I said, "I liked it, so
I did it." We worked on what he would tell the Governor General. I
said, "Election coming up. I hope the LG runs." He said, "Will she
win?" I said, "Tricky prediction. Time line forks on how the GG deals
with the world healing broadcast. She takes credit, that WILL be shot
down. I permit no lies about me or my students, who will be doing that
after the first one." They looked at each other. I said, "Well oiled
gears you've got in your minds." Grins and chuckles. I said, "After the
election, then, we'll do more about finding a secure location for the
school, and arranging contract teachers for the academics. The reason
for this, is you are not the only intelligent species in the galaxy.
First contact can be very dangerous." He said, "Oh! I see! I can't
thank you enough!" I said, "None needed." Guardian said, "Those other
Different schools." They gave me a lot more gratitude. Then I said,
"For personal friends, I offer my personal love." I stood and opened my
arms. He came into my hug, and I had to help him sit down. In dazed
awe, he said, "If I didn't believe before, I have to now. Such love!" I
said, "Odd. The more I give to people, the more I have to give." Nods.
I rang a door buzzer at a house on Great Plains. Through the
announcer, and the visual plate, Jurk said, "Solomon! Please enter!"
The door opened and I walked into a gigantic hug. We grinned. He said,
"Racen is with friends. My children are with the Circus and the fleet."
We went to sit in his office. I said, "So you're the Imperial Sector
Agent." He said, "We like to keep things in the families, if qualified.
Less training, better security." I said, "I think I can agree this time
about the qualified." Grins. I told him most of what I said to the
Admiral on Zibriskon, but the school location need. He said, "You're
still a Red Agent. Permanent." I said, "I know. Used it on the other
planets. Here's Crown's authorization." I ported that to my hand, and
he controlled his surprise. I nodded in approval. He tried not to grin.
He said, "I still have that trophy. I had to explain to my father why I
was laughing so hard." I said, "Good." He laughed. He said, "I would
like to schedule the sample healing as soon as possible. When are you
available?" I said, "Any time, any galaxy, planet, dimension, as many
of me is necessary at the same time. So, I'm available when you are.
Still have the comm?" He said, "I do. It will still work?" I said, "I
made it." He had to grin.
I asked to meet with the Head of Imperial Security, and the Emperor,
in secret. I shifted to the Emperor's private office. I said, "I'm
Solomon. I can assume any shape. Here's how I was in the Circus." I
change back to their kind of person. Emp said, "Thank you very much for
your gift of the magnificent sword!" I said, "Thanks. You're welcome. I
liked making it for you. It works, too." He said, "Oh. I never
considered that it would be a practical weapon." I said, "Not against
projectile and energy weapons, no. But as a real sword, yes. I do my
best in everything, so it's real. You could shave with it, but not if
you want to keep your nose in place." They laughed. I said, "On my
original world, I had to give up disguises. My humor was too easily
recognized." Grins.
I gave them the talk. He said, "We want that healing. Can you do a
sample with us now?" I said, "Something needs to be healed." He looked
at the sword, and thought better of it, and took a dagger, and rolled
up his sleeve, and stabbed his arm. I said, "I kind of disapprove of
self injury." He said, "I apologize, but for my people, I should
witness this as a real thing." I nodded. I did a local love broadcast
to the room, and God came in and did the healing, and said, "Solomon is
my Senior Agent for all time and spaces. Love and obey him as you would
love and obey me. We are Truth!" He left. I stopped the broadcast, and
said, "That was the Supreme Being. He loves to embarrass me." They both
said, "Wow!" I said, "I hear that a lot. He won't be speaking in the
world healings. My name is too well known." He said, "How do you know
that?" I said, "He told me. Yes, He can talk to me any time He wants
to. Mostly, it's when I ask him something, if He's not being His usual
mysterious self. He corrected me once in a world broadcast. I do NOT
want that to EVER happen again!" He said, "I understand. Wow!" They
scheduled the quarterly broadcast, and gave me official Imperial
documents to give to those who needed them. They were also going to
work on getting the possible students to go to the school. I hugged
them before I left, and helped them to sit. I shifted out.
Head said to the Emperor, "He treated you as an equal." He said,
"Yes, I know! I didn't know it was possible for me to feel so honored!"
She said, "My father felt the same, even though he didn't actually say
it." He said, "I wasn't in a condition to notice something like that
then." Grins. He said, "But my mother told me about what he did, and
how she felt was obvious." She said, "But even with all who he is, he
is also a good man. A real man. I have to like him more for that." He
said, "I agree. He thinks of us as friends! Fantastic!" More grins. I
like them, too.
I said to the students, "You've been monitoring. What do you think?"
One said, "A lot of work." Another said, "Difficult and easy at the
same time." One said, "We've been exploring. Separate gravity controls!
There's a big pool! We want to keep this place. We could have a
terminal building in the capital, like in DC." I said, "So we'll need
more space for sports, and PK practice." She said, "Please do that
here, and on the unused planet far away that you've selected for the
galaxy school when we need it." I said, "Sure." They looked at her. She
said, "You know him!" I said, "I think they just made it official." She
said, "What do you mean?" I said, "You have shown that you're the best
Obvious." She said, "Only when there needs to be one." I grinned, and
said, "And you don't get to choose when." They grinned at her, and she
sighed.
We discussed how they wanted the island to be, and I did it. They
knew about the privacy controls I could use, and I did that, too. It
wouldn't be detected. I did the first world healing broadcast on the
Imperial planet first. After God left, I said, "That was the Supreme
Being who did the healing, not me, I just made the connection to you. I
am doing the first healing broadcast for each world of the Empire.
Others will do it after me, as scheduled. Be good. Love each other." I
stopped the broadcast. There was a lot of comment in the media about
it, but the Crown had already said what they were going to about it.
The kids wanted to visit the special planet. I showed them were it
was in the galaxy. It was very isolated. I showed them the solar
system, and then the planet. The leader said, "You made that planet!"
Another said, "Copy of the Imperial planet before mankind changed it."
I said, "True. Why not?" Leader said, "Sol. I suspect something more."
I said, "If I ask you not to do that?" She said, "You know they're
going to pry it out of me." I said, "Oh, alright. I made the whole
system. A bit tricky with the star." They all said, "WOW!" I said, "I
would have said that then, if anybody could have heard me." Grins. I
said, "Ready to port?" We did, to the city center. She said, "This is
different! Fantastic! Amazing! Incredible!" I said, "Quick, somebody
take away her dictionary!" They laughed, and poked and hugged me.
The buildings were my designs, with materials like what I did for the
new gym at Shaolin. There was art everywhere, but not overwhelming,
creating a harmonious whole. We were in a real city, something like
what Dad made, with all the fancy advanced tech, and run by a big stone
AI computer. It could read thoughts addressed to it. Then we went to
the school, which was some distance away. It was like on Allguard, but
bigger, and with new and different sports. Still a lot of pools. Art,
too, but relevant to this dimension. Leader said, "Why didn't you do
this on Allguard?" I said, "No need to. They aren't using even a tiny
part of what Stephen made. Why make more unused things?" She said, "But
this is better!" I said, "For here. Different people. And I don't want
to compete with my father." They felt my love for him. She said, "Oh. I
understand. Thank you. I still love this place." I said, "Thank you. I
appreciate that." The others agreed with her.
We ported back to the school. I said, "The head Guardian. Time you
met him. I'll bring him here." Grins. I shifted to his home, and said,
"Healing broadcasts have all been done the first time. Those of my
group will continue them. Like to go see the school?" He said, "You
already found one to use?" I said, "They wanted to use the temporary
house I made for them. Here." I showed him a projected map. I said,
"You won't find the island on any other map. I er, made it. Also, there
is a special condition at that area. No satellite will see it, and no
transportation will want to go there, and if it did, people wouldn't
see it." He said, "Wow! How will people get there?" I said,
"Teleporting. We can do that to people, and things, not just to
ourselves. I built the island and the school, by porting individual
atoms into place. Took as long as it took to move the water out of the
way slow enough so as to not cause dangerous waves. Ready to go there
and meet the teachers?" He said, "Please!" We did. He said, "They're so
young!" I said, "And perfectly able. You know I wouldn't do this
otherwise." He said, "I apologize. I forgot myself. This place is
magnificent!" I said, "Thank you. I like to make nice things." The kids
grinned at us. I did the introductions. I said, "All will proceed as
they should. I am no longer needed here, but I can be reached when
needed." I wrapped them in my love, and shifted out.
I gave Daren and George the mission report. They said, "That school!
That city! Wow!" I said, "So? I had to make something, so I did. I'm
different, so what I make is different. Shaolin showed you that."
George said, "That it did. If we need anything fantastic to be built,
we DO know who to ask for it." I said, "Sure. Why not? If it doesn't
compete with my father." There was a touch. Daren said, "He absolutely
loves what you did!" I said, "I was wondering when he would do that."
He said, "You were?" I said, "After the music thing, yes." He said,
"Oh. I see a trend." I said, "Don't look." They hugged me with love.
Dad joined us with his, and his approval, too.
