Stephen's Secure Blog #339
These stories about Stephen began was when he was 10 years old, and
moving to a new part of the country to attend a special school for
gifted students, in the 1950's. This was from a time before computers
would fit on a desk, and when people communicated with friends in other
countries by actual letters sent through the postal service. He wrote
225 of them to a friend. He stopped writing to his penpal, but found he
still wanted to record his life, in case he lost his memory again, and
wrote 30 entries in his first logbook. Then he wrote to an artificial
intelligence called Geenee, in the master computer in his school for
gifted students, which he started attending in 2016. Now it's after
2018, and he's continuing to save his memories in a secure blog.
All characters are fictitious, even if some of them might have names
that belong to some actual people, or act like people we know.
The stories may not be posted in chronological order.
Stephen is 17 in this story, in the Winter of year 8 of his special
school.
Stephen's Secure Blog #339 "Jewelry of the Ages"
START Page
We closed the gallery event with some music. I thought "The Lion
Sleeps Tonight" was apropos for a show which featured dinosaurs. Well,
there aren't any good songs about long extinct animals. Those who
stayed for discussions were Chin, Sharon, the professor, the Met man,
and the president of PBS. The Priest wasn't invited. To start, I told
PBS what I had told the professor, after I told the others that some of
it might apply to them, and then said, "I lived in Tibet many times, in
past lives. In China and Mongolia, too. I know a lot of people now
living, who had previous incarnations in those areas. So, everything in
that book is as accurate as direct observation can make it. Being that
I have extremely enhanced perceptions, including the er, unusual, and
total recall, and the ability to copy some of that to readable media,
please assume that all in that book, and on the 3D BDs which
accompanies it, is completely accurate. That should apply to all I
produce of the past, where I say it, including the forthcoming book on
The Buddha. Odd expressions from you are now anticipated." They mixed
the expected wows with laughter. We could hear Hawk's laughter in the
other room.
When he could, he said, "This will be a big help with our series on
Tibet. Should I assume that you have, or will have, more material for
us?" I said "Absolutely! Also, you should look at a PBS project on
Buddhism, of 2006. One of the episodes, 'Vajra Sky Over Tibet', should
be useful to you." He said "I will. Thank you!" I said "I think I will
be doing other research you might have some interest in. Perhaps
something on the Met's Jewelry of the Ages exhibit? I can do some
enhancement on the biographies, related to the jewelry, for a video
tour." He looked at the Met man, and they nodded to each other. Sharon
was looking back and forth at us in wonder, saying "Situation Manager"
under her breath. I said "Sharon, I can hear that, you know. You can
say it louder, and explain. It's not as if they aren't aware of it
happening." She did, and explained it. Met man said "I recognized it
when he asked to make the announcement. This time, he took the proposal
and made it practically a foregone conclusion. Well done!" I said
"Thanks. That's why I get the big bucks. Oh, wait. I don't actually get
anything!" Rose hugged me and said, "But you don't need it. The charity
does, and that's what you do it for. What you did here benefits
everybody."
I said to the Met man, "In my concerts in Vienna, I was challenged to
play some odd instruments. I researched and made them on the spot. You
have a very large collection of instruments. I can help increase it, if
you want. I've invented some of my own, too. This star ruby flute, is
one." Rose said "That's beautiful! New, too. When did you make it?" I
said "Thanks. Er, just now. Want to hear it?" She poked me and said,
"Stupid question!" We could hear Hawk laughing, which made Sharon
laugh. I played some tunes on it, and it sounded pretty good. I said
"Well, it works." Sharon, the Met man, and the professor, were all
looking very hungrily at it, and they knew I knew what they wanted. I
They all yelled "No!" I said "But you all want it, and exclusively, I
think. So, who comes up with the best reason to beat out the others?"
The professor said, "I should withdraw my er, craving. I wanted it for
ME. I play the flute." Sharon said to her, "You just went to the top of
the list." At her confusion, Sharon said, "He is love, much more than a
businessman." I said to the professor, "She's right, and this has
happened twice before with a flute. Still, this is different. The
others were platinum, and so could be used in public without the owners
being murdered for them, being that they were assumed to be of ordinary
silver, and not made by me. Do you understand?" She said "I do.
Definitely not for public performances! I still can't help my craving,
which you accurately described." I said "It doesn't disassemble. The
angle of the mouthpiece might not be comfortable for you. Try it. I
might be able to adjust it." I gave it to her, and she played it very
well, and said, "It's perfect!" I said "Look closely at this part." She
did, and saw her name on the crown, with mine as maker. She cried, and
said, "How did you know?" I said "I do what my love causes me to do.
Here is a case for it." I gave it to her.
I said to Chin, "This is why I live." He nodded, and had a few tears
to contribute. Then he said, "Why am I here?" I said "It's the same for
all of us. To become better." He was about to say that wasn't what he
meant, and then in surprise, changed his mind. Sharon and the Met man
looked at me in awe. I said "So, people, you know something of what I
can do to provide you with things and information that might be of some
importance to you and your jobs. I have my own projects to work on, but
I'm open to other projects of importance. A few, so make them really
important. In the matter of museums, none are more important to me than
the National Museum. That always has priority." I said to Sharon, "I
think you might not object to that." She said "Not in the least!" Some
chuckles. I stood and said, "You know how to contact me. I expect you
will. Chad will make the arrangements for the Met exhibit. There will
be money involved. But it's for charity, so it it shouldn't hurt too
much. Yes. I have no money, and don't need it." I said to PBS, "Sorry I
won't be matching pledges next time." He nodded acceptance. I offered
to hug them, except Chin, and they accepted all my love. They left. But
I asked Chin to stay, and be alone with me.
I told him, after we sat alone, "We are alone. You have some things
to say to me." He said in wonder, "How did you know?" I just smiled. He
said "I feel different. I can think more clearly. I am more connected
to everything." I said "You are not being completely honest. You think
I will not believe." He said "Yes. I feel around me, and I feel
something of how people feel, you most of all." I said "Are you
familiar with the concept of the Third Eye?" He said "I am, but I don't
believe it." I grinned. He smiled and said, "I see that I must now
believe it." I said "Or you can think of it as the science of
psionics." He said "I heard that word in English." I nodded, and said,
"In the old way, your Third Eye is half open, and with some potential
for improvement. But there is more of a surprise in this. It has been
this way since you were 14. You have been ignoring and blocking it." He
said "I was about to suspect that. Why is it different now?" I smiled.
He said "I understand you more now. You know I know it below my
awareness, which will be reveled to my consciousness when I try to
communicate it. I think I see now. That I think more clearly now is
because I was blocking more of me than just those abilities. With what
happened here today, those blocks were penetrated with a reality I
didn't want to accept, that I am now open to. Oh! I am more
enlightened!" I nodded, and said, "I am very happy for you. And not
just because you don't need to kill me now." He had to laugh.
I said "So, what is really changed?" He thought a little, and said,
"I was too strong. Now I am not." I said "Yes, and no. You can be
excused for the last part because of its newness. You were indeed too
strong, in a way. But you are not less strong now; you are stronger,
but in a better way." He said excitedly, "Yes, I see that now. I owe
you more than my life!" I said "No. You owe me nothing. You did it all
yourself. I just made you explain it to yourself." He grinned, and
said, "That was help!" I said "Alright, I'll admit to that part. What
will you do now, as a changed person?" He said "I would like to
understand more of who I am. Is there anything you would recommend?" I
said "Do you consider yourself a Buddhist?" He said "In a small way,
yes. That I would kill, would make that a VERY small way." I said "Yes.
I would recommend that you research the Third Eye, and 'chakra'. That
would help you start. Then, if you had more interest, you could go to
any large Buddhist Temple or Monastery, and inquire about more. In DC,
Tomba, the Abbot, is one of my students." He said "I know of him, but
he is much older." I said "In my last life, I was his teacher of these
things, before and after he became a Buddhist. If you ask him, he will
probably tell you all about it, if you tell him I said he could." He
said "He would believe me?" I said "Just like he and I, you have the
ability to feel when somebody is lying to you. I can't help you see
that with a demonstration, because I am unable to lie." He nodded in
awe. He said "Are you really a Buddha?" I said "That is not for me to
say. Tomba will, though, for sure!" He tried to smile. I stood, and so
did he. I said "One more thing. Love is NOT a weakness, but a strength.
Here is mine, in full." I hugged him with all my love. Hawk came in,
just in time to catch him. When he could stand by himself, Hawk led him
out.
Chad, Rose, and Eli, came back with Hawk. We sat for a while. Rose
said to me, "I see it. You are more enlightened now than you were two
months ago." I said "There is no end to improvement. I'm not too
unhappy about it. And one other thing. All of you have improved, too.
I'm very happy for that." Chad said "With your help, even if you don't
do it directly. That's what Buddhas are for, really." I said "I have to
agree. That's when I feel most fulfilled." Eli said "This Chin. Is he
going to be something special? Oh I know, we're all special, but you
know what I mean." I said "Probably. He WILL go see Tomba, who will do
what he does. What Chin does with what he becomes, I don't know, but it
probably will be interesting."
I said "Eli, what are enemies for?" He grinned really wide, and said,
"We ALL know that one! One of your best. To make friends of." Hawk
laughed, and said, "Stole your thunder!" I made the sound of thunder in
the room, and said with an evil grin, "Not completely." We laughed, and
kissed and hugged each other, with love.
