Stephen's Secure Blog #336
These stories about Stephen began was when he was 10 years old, and
moving to a new part of the country to attend a special school for
gifted students, in the 1950's. This was from a time before computers
would fit on a desk, and when people communicated with friends in other
countries by actual letters sent through the postal service. He wrote
225 of them to a friend. He stopped writing to his penpal, but found he
still wanted to record his life, in case he lost his memory again, and
wrote 30 entries in his first logbook. Then he wrote to an artificial
intelligence called Geenee, in the master computer in his school for
gifted students, which he started attending in 2016. Now it's after
2018, and he's continuing to save his memories in a secure blog.
All characters are fictitious, even if some of them might have names
that belong to some actual people, or act like people we know.
The stories may not be posted in chronological order.
Stephen is 17 in this story, in the Fall of year 8 of his special
school.
Stephen's Secure Blog #336 "Architect Tour"
START Page
When we were ready to leave, I asked the architect if he wanted to
come with us. He really did. I said to the others, "I'm going to show
him around. It will involve some time, and a lot of walking. And I
don't even know how much talking." Some chuckles. I said "I would like
to start at my house. Then the school. Then I know who wants to show
his new home." Lhamo grinned and nodded. I said "After that, I don't
know. I was thinking the government center, and maybe Reting." The
President said, "May I come?" I said "Will you be up to it?" He said "I
know you will make it so." I said "Anybody who needs to travel in the
seated position, will have that, which should be very interesting to
them." Lhamo said, "How will that be?" I said "I don't know. I will,
when I do it." He laughed.
I said to the Chinese who would be coming with me, "Those of Tibet
are wearing environmental control pendants, to maintain their customary
air pressure, or lack of it. My method of er, sudden travel can be
unhealthy for some people, with the abrupt changes in altitude. Please
put these on to prevent that. Will also keep your warm." They did that.
I said "Don't ask how they work." One said "Why?" I said "Because I'm
not going to tell you." Some chuckled. One said "Why won't you tell
us?" I said "Are you able to calculate the time dilation or contraction
for traveling at the relative to Earth starting speed of 5 percent of
the speed of light, referencing Earth, vectoring at 2 degrees from a
line to the galaxy in Andromeda every ten minutes, accelerating at 30
kilometers per second, per second?" He said "Er, no." I said "That
would be simple in comparison, and even if I attempted to simplify it,
it wouldn't help you to understand it. Don't think I'm trying to make
myself look superior. How many of you who can drive a car, actually
understands how an internal combustion engine really works? Right. You
operate it, and it goes. For computers, it's much worse, and the
computer in the pendant is VERY powerful."
I said "Any of you who become tired, or need to use personal
facilities, please let me know. Er, except for the explicit details."
Some chuckles. I said "Are we all ready?" They had all called in their
status. I said "To the square at Jokhang!" I ported us all there." I
said "The people here can't see or hear us, until I let them. You might
have noticed a change in me. I'm letting my full personal power flow,
called Chi in Chinese, which I usually keep contained, to enable that.
I see some of you are regretting that you have no good cameras with
you. Who wants some?" I made and gave them to those who did. I said
"One more thing. Respect. We have some of the most respected people in
Tibet, and in the world, in our group. There is going to be a lot of
notice, and attention. In the public's view, we should treat each other
with the utmost respect, or some of the people could become violently
disturbed." There were some nods of agreement.
I said "I'm letting them become aware of us now, but they will bother
us less than normal, due to my flow of Chi." I did that, and we were
noticed, but by respectful people. Most in the group took pictures and
videos of everything, naturally including the floating Wheel of Life. I
said "For your information, that is actually a very solid object, and
it is not possible, by ordinary means, to stop its movement." One said
"How by other means?" I said "He who made and put it there, can remove
it, and so could other people with the same abilities of the requisite
level of skill, should they ever come to exist. Now to the Monastery
grounds, and my house. A notice. No camera will work inside my house
without my permission." We walked to it. While they were admiring the
outside, I said, "I like jade, so I build with it a lot. I made this
house for the CNN crew to stay in while they were working here. The
Abbot asked for the house to remain, so I made it look nice for him."
Lhamo said "And because you refuse to make anything ugly." I said
"That, too." Some chuckles.
I ported a rockhound's hammer to me, and said, "The strongest of you,
please attack the building with this. It won't be damaged." One took
it, and really attacked the wall, and was surprised that there were no
marks. I said "Like the Wheel, and most of my constructions in Tibet,
it is protected by forcefields. Nothing can damage it. Not even an
atomic bomb. That applies to the inside of it, too. I could make the
walls as thin as paper, even made of paper, and because of the
forcefields, they would be just as strong. In fact, I could make the
whole house out of nothing but forcefields, but some people would be a
little nervous about that, and I REALLY like jade." Some chuckles. I
said "Also, if I made things which looked fragile, some people wouldn't
trust them. Well, engineers, mostly." More chuckles. I said "So, my
places for living, and the Ruby Bridge, will work just fine without
forcefields, if I turn them off." We went inside, and I showed them
around. I said "The art is all mine. I sell a lot in New York at my
gallery. The money goes to a charity which gives it to Tibet." The
President said, "I've been to one of those gallery showings. They
purchase everything, and Stephen is very entertaining, which I think is
no great surprise to all of us." Some chuckles. I said to him, "If you
embarrass me any more, I might have some projects of a military nature
to put in your square." He said "I confess to the desire to see that
happen, just to see what you would do." More chuckles.
They were impressed by the kitchen, and the bathrooms, but were
really impressed by the studio, and the gym. One asked me, "Why did you
put this here?" I said "As host, I lived here with them. This is for
me. I exercise at least two hours a day." He said "But you need all
this for that?" I said "If you all stand here, I will show you why.
Your cameras will now work in this room." I used the equipment, and
they were really surprised. To that, I said, "A healthy body helps keep
a healthy mind. Here, who can bend this steel bar?" Even the strongest
of them, couldn't. I took off my shirts, and built up my muscles even
more, and bent it easily. I said "I did that just with the strength of
my body. I will not reincarnate. This is the last body I will ever
have. I want it to work well, for whatever I want to do with it." I put
my shirts back on. We went to the pool room. They were really impressed
by the mosaics.
Then we went back to my living room to sit for a while. The architect
said, "Well designed, but not just in architecture. Being the artist
and interior designer, you can build to a er, completeness that is
above compare." I bowed and said, "Thank you. I have been an artist in
other lives, but in this life, I am blessed with an overabundance of
tools and techniques I can use, enabling my creativity so it can go to
extremes that no other artist in history has attained. I often wonder
at the fantastic art and structures we would have had, if the great
artists of the past had my unusual abilities. I am fortunate beyond
expression, for all that I have and can do." They showed agreement.
Then we ported to the outside of the art school, where they admired the
carvings. I said "If you want to know why I made the outside like this,
it's because I wanted to." Some chuckles. Then we went inside. The
owner was waiting for us. They loved the atrium. She said "Stephen knew
we needed natural light, and made our new building so we could have it.
Yes, he made it all at once, in a second."
I said "Because some of the equipment here isn't self powered, they
have standard wall electrical outlets, but each one is independent, and
produces its own free electricity. I see you want to know how that is
possible. For the first time, I'll tell the public. Oh my, such high
interest!" Laughter. I said "The universe is full of energy, and that
includes what are thought to be other dimensions. Each outlet is
connected to a source of available energy, which it converts to
electricity. No, I can't describe the source in a way which is
understandable, just like I can't tell you how my teleporting works. I
see some understanding in you. Yes, they are related. I see one of you
has another idea. My moving objects in space with my mind. The energy
for that also is available the same way. Mr. President, I'm sure your
scientists have already come to the same conclusion, and have told
you." He said "You are a master of telling us something we know, as if
it is a new precious gift from you." I grinned and said, "You are far
from the first to say that." He laughed.
One said, "You know what we are thinking before we say it. How is
that?" I said "Those with at least half open Third Eyes, which some
call psionics, which is very common in Tibet, can feel the emotions of
other people, and sometimes see auras. Those of us with fully open
Third Eyes, are better at that. I have an expert ability to read face
and body language, which is VERY informative, and I don't need my
physical eyes to do that. Another aspect of the Third Eye is the object
sense. It's like feeling things around you with the mind, inside and
out. When you add all that to my high intelligence and 74,000 years of
life experiences, then you know how I can tell what people are
thinking, with a high degree of accuracy. Most people can do something
of this, and actually do it to some degree unconsciously. I do it
better, and with more skill, training, and experience." He said "Thank
you. You have explained it well." There were some chuckles. Lhamo said
"They are amused, because Stephen is known as The Master Teacher for
good reason." More chuckles.
I said "Next is your house. Will you allow cameras to work there?" He
said "You have warned them? Then yes." I ported us to the main
entrance. We went in, and were greeted by Monks. The tour went well,
and they all were very impressed. Some of that was caused by Lhamo's
excitement. I said to him in contact, +You have seen the other places.
Do you wish to stay here, or continue to accompany us?+ He said +Thank
you for teaching me this. Useful in these situations. I will stay with
you.+ I said +You just don't want to miss anything strange coming out
of my mouth.+ He tried not to laugh.
Then we toured the government building. The architect said "You made
this all at once, too?" I said "Yes. Better results than assembly. All
protected, too." He said "I can see why they like working here. It's
magnificent!" I said "Thank you. Great people inspire the best from me.
I have to do this for the great country Tibet will become." There was
an excess of various emotions. Then we ported to Sera, at my pavilion.
Rhamcha and Reting were there, waiting for us. Our guests admired the
road. Rhamcha explained it well, and he knew I liked that, which Reting
noticed. Then we ported to Reting Monastery. I said to him, "Videos of
our tour here are going to go on the internet." He had a lot of thanks
for that, which made me grin, and him laugh. They were very impressed
by it all, when Reting told them I made the entire Monastery, after
removing the old one which was beyond repair. They were astounded by
the floating Dharma Center. I had to say it was Reting's idea, because
he didn't. I said to the architect, "Don't be totally afraid to ask
your clients for ideas. Some will be angry if you don't use them, but
if you never ask, some genius idea you could really use, will go
forever undiscovered. We who build for people are NOT the source for
ALL the ideas in the universe, which seems to be contrary to what some
in the occupation would like to believe." He nodded very thoughtfully.
I said "What could be better than building something for a client,
who actually loves it so much he can't tell you? That is something to
really live for." He agreed. I said "People will live here, and improve
themselves, and that I can help that to happen, is such a privilege and
an honor, it is impossible for me to express in words. I am very
grateful that I can do this here in Tibet, which I can't do in most of
the world." One said "Can you do this on other worlds?" I said "If they
don't have regulations against it. Inhabited worlds do, where they
live." He said "How do you know this?" I said "I can see, through
various means, practically anything in the galaxy, down to subatomic
particles." There were some wows. One said "Can you teleport to other
worlds?" I said "If I want to, yes." He said "Have you?" I said "For
me, other people speculating on that, is much more interesting than if
I said anything more about it." I grinned at his consternation, which
didn't make him feel better. Nor did some who were trying not to laugh.
I said "Maybe this will help. That pendant you are wearing, with a
different setting, can act like an invisible spacesuit, giving you
fresh air from any set place on Earth, providing perfect isolation and
protection from any external environment, including vacuum and the
surface of the sun. I walked naked on the moon to test it. Oh, does
that count as a planet, for your question?" He almost ground his teeth
in frustration. I said "No? How about this. I made an entire city on
another planet, as an art project. It's uninhabited, and I didn't have
to be there to do it. Yes, my building methods work at practically any
distance. Can you withstand one more strange thing? The atoms for much
of my buildings come from the astroid bets of uninhabited star systems.
Hmm, I think that's enough for today. More, and your minds might
explode. Who wants to clean up that kind of mess?" Some chuckles.
I said "Each of you, please tell me where you would like me to send
you to, on THIS planet." Some more chuckles. I sent the Chinese to
where they wanted to go, removing the pendants, which severely annoyed
some of them, which I told the remaining of our group, who laughed. I
said to the Tibetans, "Some of the unusual parts of our discussions
have been erased from their cameras." They grinned really wide. I said
"I think there is a question. So, ready to go see my city?" Rhamcha
said "I've been there. You do NOT want to miss it." We went, and I did
the tour, and they reacted as expected. Then we went to just outside my
house. I said "The city I built is mostly from plans from a destroyed
civilization. Also, my house here before. I recently changed it to
contain a gigantic pipe organ. So, it looks different now." We went
inside. I did the usual tour. I said "Here was my art workshop. It is
still here, but I use the one in my new family home on Earth now, where
Rose and I will raise our children. I ask all of you not to make this
public, that we have been to another world. Interestingly, would you
have known it, if I hadn't told you?" Lhamo said "I didn't think of
that. I see. We wouldn't know, unless we could see the stars, and
recognized they were different."
Then Splidnt walked into sight, and said in Tibetan, with a big grin,
"Unless you had encountered people like me here." They were extremely
surprised. Then they noticed my grin, and relaxed. Lhamo said to him,
"I see by your degree of enlightenment, and your love, that you are one
of Stephen's students." They bowed to each other, and I made the
introductions, and said, "Splidnt teaches at Shalu. He is VERY well
liked there." He laughed, and said, "And Stephen is liked and loved on
my planet, and on many others." I said "So, you really know I can port
to other planets." Some chuckles. I said "So can Splidnt. All my
teachers in Tibet can port. All are loved, and give love." He hugged
each one, and they had to agree. Then he asked to be excused, and
ported away. The PM said to me, "You asked him to be here." I said
"Yes. You would have met him and others someday, so today, being on a
different planet, seemed like a good time to start it. He is the only
offplanet teacher we have in Tibet. The other species students are
either not ready, or not compatible with your climate, or are too
unusual looking for your comfort." One said "Would you show us images?"
I said "Zander is the owner of our biggest school, which Splidnt came
from. His big teeth are for sexual attraction, which I make fun of. He
has a great sense of humor. These people have three sexes. I have not
asked them how they do it. Afraid, actually. Could be why they love
sports." Some laughter. I said "These people don't like to hug their
own people, but do like to hug us with soft skins, which we both think
is strange. These people are very loving, and their tails are VERY
useful in sexual things. And with that fur, well, you can imagine how
much fun they can be. I see the question. I do NOT have to imagine."
They laughed. Rose ported in, and said, "Stephen is VERY popular with
them." I said "The second meeting I had with their Adept group was not
for business. Rose was there for that." She said "An experience not to
be missed." I said "And they don't mind the cold as much. I see a lot
of interest." Some chuckles. I said "I have asked for some of them to
teach in Tibet. When they are ready, well, I expect you will know it."
They all nodded enthusiastically.
I ported them all back to where they wanted to go, removing the
pendants, and Rose and I ported home. Hawk said "You're acclimatizing
them to offworld things, slowly. Good plan. Frustrating the Chinese.
Great plan." We laughed. Rose said to me, "Do you think somebody is
going to say some wild things about you, from today? Oh, you hope they
do, and you aren't going to comment in a useful way." I said "Got any
more answers for your own questions?" Hawk laughed, and Rose poked both
of us. Hawk said "Somebody going to mess with the museum?" Rose said
"Bound to happen." Hawk said, "So Stephen gets to scare the pants off
them." I said "Yes. Been a little dull in the consequences department."
He said "I can't wait!" Rose said "You left the pavilion there, but
removed the food boxes." Hawk said "I REALLY can't wait." We laughed.
