Stephen's Secure Blog #295
These stories about Stephen began was when he was 10 years old, and
moving to a new part of the country to attend a special school for
gifted students, in the 1950's. This was from a time before computers
would fit on a desk, and when people communicated with friends in other
countries by actual letters sent through the postal service. He wrote
225 of them to a friend. He stopped writing to his penpal, but found he
still wanted to record his life, in case he lost his memory again, and
wrote 30 entries in his first logbook. Then he wrote to an artificial
intelligence called Geenee, in the master computer in his school for
gifted students, which he started attending in 2016. Now it's after
2018, and he's continuing to save his memories in a secure blog.
All characters are fictitious, even if some of them might have names
that belong to some actual people, or act like people we know.
The stories may not be posted in chronological order.
Stephen is 17 in this story, in spring of year 7 of his special school.
Stephen's Secure Blog #295 "After the Announcement"
START Page
There were no major disturbances in Tibet. They had learned their
lesson from the premature announcement, and the Monasteries and Temples
had people out in force, urging moderation and control. I had to port
to Labrang with the news, and did help with some minor troubles with
the authorities. The CNN crew spent most of the day out in Lhasa. By
the early evening, some people were shooting off fireworks. There were
some fires I put out, and some burns I had to heal, but nothing major.
Then I decided to do something special. I asked Len, "Can your people
get good shots of a kind of real fireworks show?" He said "They'd
better!" Some laughed. I said "At around 9:30, I'll start. Not real
explosives, but converted psychic energy. Rhamcha, would you care to
demonstrate?" He said "What shall I do?" I said "Ball of light energy,
thrown up a few meters, exploding as a shower of light sparkles." He
concentrated, and a ball of light appeared above his open palm. It
moved up into the air, and exploded soundlessly, and light fell in
streams, and vanished before they came near the ground.
I said to the others, "That was not projection, but real light
energy, which he converted from his own internal energy. Advanced
martial artists can do some of that, too." One cameraman said, "I can
confirm that. I had a Kung Fu teacher who could do something like that,
and light a candle from 3m away, too." I nodded thanks to him. I said
"In my last life, when I was 12, I burned part of a wall, trying to
light my first candle. Smelled the school up something awful. I found a
new use for my art, after we put the fire out. I hung a picture over
the evidence." Rhamcha said "Is it still there?" I said "I hope not!
The school moved fifteen years later. The old building is gone. I'll
show you my memory of how it happened." They had some wows.
Don said "Your memory pictures. Can you record them to something like
a camera?" I said "There are different kinds of projections. The basic
one is an illusion which the brain can see, but because it emits and
reflects no light, a camera can't. With skill and practice, one can
make an illusion which emits light, which a camera can record. With
more advancement, one can make an image which reflects light." He said
"Your growing larger, is that an illusion projection?" I said "That is
something altogether different. Illusions can't crush tanks. My giant
hands actually did that." He said "Wow! But what I was getting at, so
you can record your memories. Past life memories, too?" I said "Yes,
and with audio. I know where you are going. It wouldn't be all you
would want. My memories are from what I experienced, so I won't be in
them. Only where I looked would be recorded. In some, I never saw
myself in a reflection, so I don't know what I looked like." He said
"But we have seen things with you in them."
I said "Recorded by cameras, or recorded memories of my students who
were monitoring me." He said "Oh! Now I understand, Thank you." I said
"Sometimes I drew and painted myself." He said "So you were an artist,
before, too. Would you tell us who?" I said, cheerfully, "No." He
laughed. I said, "I did know Michelangelo and Leonardo." The soundman
asked, "Were they gay?" I said "Mic was, and hated it. Leo was, and
kept it mostly secret. He never told anybody how he felt about it, as
far as I know. In fact, he rarely expressed his feelings at all." Don
said "So how do you know Leonardo was gay?" I grinned, and said, "Some
of his apprentices knew. It was common practice throughout history,
that poor apprentices who lived with their master, shared his bed, and
not just for sleeping. They all knew that a cute untalented apprentice
was there for only one reason, and Leonardo had them, in ways more than
one." Some chuckles, and wows. I said "Could be why none of his
apprentices ever amounted to anything. To much mounting." Some
surprised laughter.
One asked, "Were you his apprentice?" I said "No, and not of Mic,
either, although I did learn from them by studying their work." He
said, "Were you gay?" I said "In that life, I was probably a little bi.
But that fact isn't recorded in history." He said "So you were a
historical figure then?" I said "I had a very good figure." He laughed.
I said "I looked more Dutch than Italian, but with brown hair. Made me
popular." He said "Were you gay in any of your lives?" I said "That's
hard to answer. I didn't mean that the way it might have sounded." They
laughed. I said "Throughout history, and in some places to this day,
there weren't sexual categories like there are today. Virile men wanted
to screw anybody who would let them. And I mean ANY body. The more
power a person had, the more access to sexual partners. Most societies
frowned, at least slightly, on homosexual activities, but that didn't
have much effect on reality. In ancient Greece and Rome, such alliances
were expected, and young men were often adopted into the families of
their powerful er, screwers. Good way to advance in life. Julius
plugged Augustus an awful lot, before both became emperors. Neither
were what we would classify as gay. Saul screwed David almost
continuously. The official position David had was Shield Carrier, but
he carried Saul's spear a lot, under Saul, if you know what I mean."
They laughed. I said "In ancient Sparta, homosexuality was required.
Even the screw everything Athenians thought that was a little odd."
More laughter.
I said "Why all this interest in gay things?" Len said, "I think it's
the reporter's pushing for salacious revelation, in operation." I said
"Well, I already made a public statement about the issue." Don said "We
saw that, in our research. Well said." I said "Thank you. Just being
me. Love is the most important thing. Sex can be a way to share and
increase it. Make babies, too." Don said "I noticed some statues of
people having sex in some Temples. Could you explain that?" I said, "If
you don't want a demonstration right now." They laughed. I said "Those
sculptures illustrate the Buddhist principle of Yab-Yum. We have dual
natures in us, the constructive, and the destructive, wisdom and
stupidity, compassion and antagonism, strength and weakness, the female
and the male. That is most seen in sexuality, and reconciling it and
embracing it, is seen and expressed in the ultimate union of male and
female, in the sex act. Understanding this is necessary, among many
other things, for advancement in enlightenment. No, one doesn't need to
have sex to learn this, but it sure couldn't hurt!" One said "Yes!"
Some laughed. Rhamcha said "Such teaching had fallen out of respect in
these sexually repressed times, but Stephen has shown us its importance
again, by being who he is. This is the source of his love, which you
all have felt. His students, myself included, could not advance without
it. We know the truth of that, because we can feel it." He projected
his love, and they said "Wow!" I said "Humans are sexual beings. We
can't ignore that, and be fully human, and enlightened."
Don said "The Dalai Lama has said homosexuality has no place in
Buddhism." I said, "He did, and he and I discussed it recently. He
lived most of his early life in monastic conditions. Such a lifestyle,
where men have very little privacy, and no access to women, must have
some rules about sex, or there would be a lot of trouble. And it was a
very touchy subject when he was asked by foreigners. He didn't want to
give Tibetan Buddhism a bad reputation, when he needed the world's
sympathy and support. Did you know that Christian churches give more
money to Tibet, than any other part of the world's societies?" Don said
"I didn't know that. I see what you are building up to. Does he think
as you do, in private?" I said "Off the record, yes. If you ask him, he
might say that. I won't say he said he would, because it's HIS decision
what people should know of his feelings on things." Don grinned, and
said, "You were very skillful in that." I grinned back, and said, "I've
had practice."
Don said "With your power and looks, a lot of people would be
attracted to you." Rhamcha laughed. I grinned at him. He said "I know
from experience, that when he hugs with his love, no person is immune
to his sexual attraction. I have no sexual feelings for men, but more
than once after his hug, I was reluctant to stand, before part of me
didn't." I said "Being the hugger, I know this very well. People do get
their point across, often." The Lieutenant said, "I, a very masculine
married man with children, police officer, love him, and have had that
reaction. I am SURE that at least some of you here have felt the same.
Your embarrassment tells me I am correct." It sure did. I told him, "I
think they are ready for a change of subject." He wasn't the only one
who laughed.
We went to the Road to Sera, so I could be seen doing fireworks. And
because it was beautiful the way it was lit in the dark, which the CNN
crew said. I said "I'm going to call all the free energy in the area to
me. I'll probably glow." That's what happened. Then I tossed up some
light globes, which had long glowing tails. High in the sky 250m up in
the air, they exploded silently in a big chrysanthemums of white light.
Then I made more, with different colors and effects, some being very
complicated. Then many more at once. Then I got really into it, and
made music to accompany the show, coordinated with the fireworks. A
symphony of color and sound. I had to use a 4th hookup for extra
energy. I did that for an hour and a half, ending with a big image of
The Buddha, and the Wheel of Life, in sparkling lights, and a broadcast
of love. Then it was over. By then, most in the city knew who had
caused it, and where I was. Before they could reach us, I ported us to
my house. I said "I had to move us, or we would have been mobbed." Don
said "Might have been worth it." Len said "No." Don said "When you said
you would do fireworks, I didn't know you would do THAT!" I said "I
didn't, either. The artist in me took over, and did a little more than
I had originally intended." Rhamcha said "I liked it." I bowed to him,
and said, "Someday I hope you can take my place in the yearly event,
which will be held on July 4th." He bowed to me in return.
Late that night in my bedroom in Lhasa, Chad said, "That was
magnificent! Original music, too." Rose and Hawk agreed. Chad said "Can
I have it?" I said "Sure. I don't know what you can do with it, though.
Won't look the same on TV." He said "I recorded it from different
angles, and you too, glowing on the road. Beautiful art." I said "I
could do some paintings of the scene. I've been recording what I do
from other viewpoints, when I think of it, with something I plan. I did
it this time. I'll give you those." He said "Thanks. Boston Pops wants
you for August. Program to be determined." I said "If they take
directions, fine." He said "Speaking about that, Vienna Opera House
wants you to conduct. You choose." I said "Great. I might do The
Planets. Think I should poke Russia by doing something I said I wanted
to do, there?" He grinned, and said, "I wouldn't mind in the least." I
And I still have one of my own symphonies available." He said "We could
discuss it with them when you are available." I said "After CNN goes
home. Oh, and I still want the money for Tibet." He said "Right." We
hugged with love.
