Stephen's Secure Blog #225
These stories about Stephen began was when he was 10 years old, and
moving to a new part of the country to attend a special school for
gifted students, in the 1950's. This was from a time before computers
would fit on a desk, and when people communicated with friends in other
countries by actual letters sent through the postal service. He wrote
225 of them to a friend. He stopped writing to his penpal, but found he
still wanted to record his life, in case he lost his memory again, and
wrote 30 entries in his first logbook. Then he wrote to an artificial
intelligence called Geenee, in the master computer in his school for
gifted students, which he started attending in 2016. Now it's after
2018, and he's continuing to save his memories in a secure blog.
All characters are fictitious, even if some of them might have names
that belong to some actual people, or act like people we know.
The stories may not be posted in chronological order.
Stephen is 16 in this story, in the Fall of year 7 of his special
school.

I said to Rhamcha, "Shall we have a look at what is transpiring in
the Square of the Wheel?" He just grinned his face almost in half. I
projected some pictures. There were a LOT of people there, with sore
necks, which I said, and relieved a laugh in return. A lot of them were
Monks. Rhamcha said "It's beautiful, not just as it is in itself, but
also in how it is displayed. It fits the area well, and looks right,
improving all around it. A truly artistic triumph!" I said,
embarrassed, "Er, thank you." We looked at some more images. The Abbot
there was outside, basking in the glory. He was really enjoying
himself. I liked helping him have that. The government officials with
him, were NOT enjoying it. I said "Shall we pay those officials a
surprise visit?" he said with excitement, "Oh, let's!" I ported us to
right in front of them. I said to the shocked officials, "Why are you
harassing this Abbot? He didn't put the Wheel up there, I did. He
couldn't take it down if he wanted to. Nobody but I can, and I won't.
If you need to complain about it, do it to me, so I can ignore you
properly." Rhamcha, and the Abbot and those with him, laughed so hard,
they almost fell down.
I said "You should like it, actually. It will draw many tourists,
which will make money for this city and country. Surely you would be in
favor of that, wouldn't you?" He wouldn't be, and we all knew it, but
he couldn't say that out loud. That caused some more amusement. He got
up his nerve and said, "You are under arrest." I said "Interesting." I
looked up, and said, "I didn't know I was under anything. Well, what's
the charge?" He said "Disturbing the peace." I said "Oh, that's a good
one. But tell me, where around here do you see anything that is not
peaceful? I am unable to find it." He said to his officers, "Take him!"
They didn't move. I said "If they try to do that, this place will have
a very real disturbed peace. The people here, including some of your
police officers, and those people out there, know something of who I
am, and would be extremely angry if you abused your office, and tried
to do that to me. Because you would be the cause of that disturbance,
you would then need to arrest yourself. Ah, for your information, the
last time I was involved with the police, I removed all the bullets
from all the guns of all the police officers in this city, to prevent
possible injury to others. I can't be harmed by anything on Earth,
myself. So, are you ready to arrest yourself?" He looked confused. The
police Captain I had met before, stepped forward, and said, "Sir, I
have met with him before. He is even more than what he says he is.
These people believe he is a living Buddha. If you do anything against
him, they will rip us to little pieces and feed us to the birds." I
said to the Captain, "Not him. Would choke any decent bird." He was the
only one who successfully kept from laughing. I nodded respect to him.
One of the other officials said, "He is the one we were warned about.
Those in Beijing said we should not interfere with him." I said "That's
interesting. He actually did what I told him." That official said
"Who?" I said "The President. I told him I was going visit here, and
warned him about his people causing trouble, and said he should tell
them not to. Twice, actually. He really did it. Wise of him. Now we
see if it will work. If I were a betting man, I would bet it won't."
The official in charge said, "I don't believe it. Any of it. You are
under arrest. You will come with us." I said "You don't believe? That
Wheel. You don't believe it is there?" He said "No, I don't." Then how
do you see it, if it isn't there?" He said "It is some kind of trick."
I said "Oh, you do see it then." He said "No I don't." I said "Then how
do you know it is a trick, if nothing is there? People can see tricks,
you know." He said "I see the trick." I said "What you see is what it
is. I never said it was anything but a Wheel, not how you see what you
denied seeing that you are complaining about being there. Tell me, are
you opposed to this city and country earning money from tourism? Before
you answer, I should tell you that many of us here have the ability to
know when we are being lied to." He said "I am not opposed." I said
"That was unfortunate." He said "I don't care. I don't believe any of
that. You will come with us under arrest, or I will shoot you in self
said, "Silence! I am in charge here, not them!"
I said in my command way, "By the power you have given me over you by
threatening me with false arrest and death, I will say this, and you
WILL obey! You will always communicate the truth. You will never lie
for the rest of your life. You will answer all questions fully, any
Monk, myself, and those above you in rank, ask you, as soon as
possible. You will obey all your own laws. Do you understand what I
have said to you? If you do, say yes." He clearly didn't want to, but
said yes anyway. I said "You will obey my commands!" Then I said in my
regular voice, "Was I committing any criminal act which justified being
arrested?" He said "No." I said "Do you support the city and country
earning money from tourism?" He said, clearly against his will, "No." I
said "Why?" It is the government's policy to make this region wholly
dependent on Beijing for everything. They want there to be no more
Tibetans because they are not Han, and don't believe as Han do, and are
small in number. We despise them. We are trying to reeducate the Monks
to be as we are, and are failing." I said "Does the government want the
people to know this?" He said "No." I said "Are they doing this to
others not of the Han?" He said "Yes."
I said "What do you think will happen if what has happened here
today, and what you are saying, becomes public knowledge all over the
world?" He said "I will be sent to a labor camp." I said "Do you think
that is fair?" He looked surprised, and said, "Not for telling the
truth, no, it is not fair." I said "Do you think a government that
hides most of what it does to the people, from them, is a good
government?" He thought a little, and said in surprise, "No I don't." I
said "Do you think a government that is so corrupt, and knows how
fragile that makes it, that it needs to control the information its
people can see so much that nothing of this would be permitted to be
known elsewhere, should be in power?" He said "No, it shouldn't." I
said "Do you think that a political system which encourages its
officials to abuse their powers because there are no checks and
balances on them, and which constantly has to lie to its people and the
world to cover that up, should exist?" He said "No. It should not
exist." I said "Think over what has happened today. Do you think you
were ordered to leave me alone and not make trouble with me because it
was the right thing to do, or because they didn't want disturbances, or
because they knew it would not succeed with me, and I might make it
public?"
He said, after some thought, "The government wants disturbances which
gives us the excuse to kill and imprison people we want to get rid of,
and to shut down more hated religious centers. So I have to say it is
because of your last option. They did not want what YOU would do about
this, seen by others." I said "Was what I did to you, to make it so you
couldn't lie, which is how I live, myself, unfair?" He said in
surprise, "It was more than fair, and more than I deserved, and your
command didn't have to make me say that, either!" I said "How do you
feel about my commands to you, now?" He said in pride, "I am a better
man for them, and I thank you! I feel as if a large weight was lifted
from my back, to make me free." I said "I'm sorry, but by the looks of
things, I think you would rather that came from the front." He laughed
right along with the others.
I said to him, "Er, you do see it now?" He laughed again, and said,
"Yes I do, and it's beautiful." I said "Thank you. I will ask the
President not to punish you. If he is as smart as I think he is, he
won't deny me. My next question you do not have to answer if you don't
want to. How do you feel about me?" He said "I do want to answer that.
I feel you are a friend, and really care about me and all people. You
could have done much worse and didn't, and actually made me feel much
better about myself." I said "About that last part, it's because lying
damages the mind and spirit over time. When you stop that, the mind
starts repairing itself. In the beginning of that process, people often
feel as you have felt. For those who's commitment to the truth lasts,
so does that feeling, in part. I am known, and have been for three
incarnation, as The Master Teacher. That is because I am love. I do it
for the love that I am." I raised my arms and glowed a bright yellow
white, and gave my love to the Temple, the city, and the whole country.
After that, I said, "I'm going into the Temple now. Have a nice day.
It's been nice meeting with all of you. Well, part of the time." We all
grinned. The Abbot and his people, and Rhamcha and I, went into the
Temple, and to the Abbot's office.
I said to the Abbot, "Is this what you expected?" He grinned and
said, "From the official, yes, but funnier when you came. About what
you did, I did not expect at all. I love your humor!" I grinned and
said, "I think your laughter already said that." He said "Properly
ignore him! I will remember that well into my next life." His assistant
said "The same for would choke any decent bird. A priceless gift!" I
said "I should thank the Captain for giving me a way to say that. Now
we have to decide who gets the recording, and when. The problem is
language. The file I will be giving you will have written translations
at the bottom of the moving image, in English and Chinese." They all
didn't have an answer.
The Abbot said. "Can you make anybody do anything with that strange
voice?" I said "I can't make them smart, if they are not, or younger.
Other than things like that, the answer is yes and no. They will obey
my commands, even an accomplished Abbot has, but I can only act against
others in just fairness. I can do that to stop a bad action, prevent
reoccurrence, and educate. Not punish. Although sometimes what can be
done is worse than any punishment the world can provide. How would you
like to live every crime you ever committed against another, from that
other's perspective with their feelings, every hour of every day?" He
said "Horrible. Suppose he had murdered somebody?" I said "I stopped a
war that way. I frightened the President of France a long time ago with
such a vision, of the victims he had authorized to be tortured. He
almost died right then. It took two years, but he did stop the wars his
country was in, but years later, that led to a bigger war in a country
his had been at war with. That was when I decided that I should not
interfere with a society or politics on Earth. Until now, when I'm
given a task I may not refuse."
I said "So, it would not be right to force people to do what I want,
just because I don't like them, or they disagree with me. I must not do
wrong. Only right. I am of The LIGHT. I could force the president of
China to do what I want, but while there is a chance I can convince him
to do it of his own will, I must do it that way. I will NOT be like
those I would oppose!" Rhamcha said "I notice you didn't tell him not
to arrest you, but just be honest and lawful." I grinned and said, "I
was hoping HE didn't notice that." They laughed.
