Dear Friends,
The latest comment as referenced above, regarding Cosmos' offering,
brought up a concern that has pricked at me off and on for better than
several years. This is not a criticism of that comment, but I should
like your opinion regarding the appropriateness of making comments
detailing the contents of encrypted postings.
Contributors, including myself, encrypt offerings to avoid negative
attention from a variety of sources, ranging from the common troll to
the ng service provider, and then to ... well, I'm sure you all fill
in the blanks.
Those posting appreciation messages always seem to exercise a good
amount of discretion. Seldom does one see an ejaculation such as,
"OMG. I could suck on that all night!" Still, often comments provide
information as to the contents of the post that the poster may not
have wanted revealed.
How much discretion is called for when posting appreciative comments?
