At 3.53pm GMT, 23 August 2011, the three Fort Kittens were placed in a
leather bag which was secured with rope, and drowned in a pond at
North Somerset. They struggled valiantly but quite briefly, and were
pronounced dead at the scene at 4.22pm by an assistant Coroner
visiting North Somerset from East London.
There will be a cremation on a specially prepared funeral pyre two
miles strictly due east of Grimley Manor in Dorset on Friday 26 August
2011, at 3.00pm. Refreshment will be served prior to the ashes being
scattered in the immediate vicinity.
Please send flowers as tributes, to Grimley Manor.
Our grief knows no end.
Requiescat in Pace, Fort Kittens.
Gone, but not forgotten.
