I was actually fast-forwarding to get to the end to see Around the
Horn & PTI when A gorgeous face showed up on the screen. Needless to
say, I went back! The kid is the son of the manager, and he's just
beautiful -- big eyes, long eyelashes, a few freckles peppered over
his face -- I mean this kid was just plan CUTE! He reminded me of
Jakob Menenzes-Wood of Libera and my own cutest little boy scout in
the world Jonathan! Okay, Jonathan had a lot more freckles, but I
swear that boy had the most beautiful eyes in the world! And when I
met his mother, I knew where he got them! As a side story, I subbing
at a local elementary school on summer break from college, and we were
in the cafeteria when I looked up to see a little girl -- kind of
plain, but .... I walked over to her and said, you must be a
(Jonathan's surname) -- I'd know those eyes anywhere! And of course,
she actually knew who I was since I was one of her big brother's scout
leaders,
Anyway -- does anyone know how I can move this video from the DVR to a
USB key and capture this kid? Or does someone else have the video? I
mean it, guys -- you've got to see this kid from Rhode Island!
And it appears that Around the Horn is a lost cause -- waiting to see
if PTI is a goner as well! Oh, and to see if he comes back on screen!
Seriously -- he had figured out that a camera was on him -- and the
cameraman was egging him on! He was blowing bubbles and dancing! It
was a wonderful moment in a rather bad day. And it cheered me up no
end!
