The Adventures of Stevie #128
These stories were told to me by friends and other people. Some of them
are true. Some of them are only partly true. Some of them should have
been true. LOL
My first post about Stevie ("Call me Stephen!") was when he was 12 and
in summer camp and was told by another camper. This was from a time
before computers would fit on a desk and when people communicated with
friends in other countries by actual letters sent through the postal
service. When children did this those friends were called "penpals".
Carlos is Stevie's penpal in Argentina and knows English. This is a
fictional contrivance to enable Stevie to tell us his stories because
he isn't here in person. I think.
All characters are fictitious, even if some of them might have names
that belong to some actual people, or act like people we know.
Stevie's school is for gifted children who don't fit in regular schools.
The stories may not be posted in chronological order.
Stevie is 13 in this story, at year 3 of summer camp.
The Adventures of Stevie #128 "Roger, Dodger"
Dear Carlos,
It was the middle of the night. It's true most nights have middles,
but this one was different. How often does one of those middles wake
you up because somebody dies in your head? I wish it didn't have to be
in a middle. It's not a nice way to wake up in the dark like that.
Roger would pick that kind of time. He did.
Then I had to do the same thing to somebody else. I didn't want to,
but it was necessary. I contacted father. +I'm really sorry to wake
you, but Roger the slaver just died. He was at home. I thought you
would want to know, so you could send somebody out there to check he
didn't leave anything which might be bad for us, before somebody else
got to it.+ He said +Thanks. I'll get right on it. Contact me after
breakfast.+ I said +Right. Discom.+ Then I snuggled closer to Chad, and
went back to sleep. You might wonder why it didn't keep me awake. I
learned when I was very little to sleep when I wanted to, because I
often couldn't, before that. I still wake up at the slightest noise,
but I can go right back to sleep anytime I want to. Having somebody I
love right next to me, helps.
I told Chad about Roger when we woke up. He said "Good." I said "Nice
gentle loving Chad." He poked me. I tickled him, and then we helped
each other do the usual morning squirt. I contacted father after
breakfast, with Chad in the connection, which I told father. Father
said +It looks like he tried to write down what we did with him, but
couldn't. Just a few words then scribbles. Your doing?+ Chad laughed. I
said +Yes. I told him not to, while under my control. That works like
using a doll of him. It would have worn off in a few months, but if I
still had the connection, I could have reinforced it. He couldn't have
talked about it, too.+ Chad laughed again. I said +Sorry, father. Chad
is being vicious.+ Father said +I sympathize with his feelings. There
was nothing else there of interest. We are still researching his
assets. I'll let you know the results when I get them, if you're
interested. There is an update on the crystal incident at the Agency.
He had another one on his desk. I had it taken and insulated, and gave
it to the Abbot, who got a line on the maker. He'll keep it insulated,
for when you come back, in case you want to look at it.+ I said
+Thanks, but next time, please don't let Shan work with something made
by somebody we haven't stopped. He likes to be helpful, but it could
put him and everybody in the Temple at risk. A real adept would be
watching them, for just that kind of thing, because he would know they
would be his enemies. His next step would be to attack. I have an
advantage of being less known, and more mobile.+ He said +Now that
you've explained it, I understand it better. Thanks for the warning. If
anything more develops, I'll let you know.+ I said +Okay. Discom.+ I
disconnected father, but kept contact with Chad.
Chad said +Don't be too upset with him. He didn't know, and it's hard
for people to get used to thinking about psychic precautions. I'm a
genius, and I'm having trouble wrapping my mind around all this.+ I
said +And what a nice mind it is.+ He poked me, but grinned. He said
+Speaking about mind, there is something I've been meaning to ask you.
Have you told Dr. Knot you cheated?+ I said +No. You know?+ He said +I
think he suspects. Your team knows. We're geniuses. Did you think you
could hide from us who you really are? We can't understand all of you,
but that fact alone told us first. Did you think we, a bunch of
pampered individualist geniuses, would make you our leader, if we
didn't know? We won't tell, but we thought you should know we knew.+ I
said +Freak, squared+ He said with a grin and a kiss, +And what a nice
freak you are!+ I poked him, and kissed him back.
I said +While we are talking about mind, I want you to use yours on
this.+ I told him about what Shan said about what he observed of our
transporting, and what I think it meant.+ He said +Wow!+ I said +We
hear that a lot.+ We both laughed. I told him about what Mr. Insane did
with the levitating pencil. I said +I think he might be using some 4th
dimension controls to grab the pencil, before applying force to it.
When we get back to school, we should set up movie cameras to film what
happens when we go, and when we arrive. I can transport between nearby
rooms. I think that won't effect my seasickness much.+ He said +And I
want to see if I can transport by myself.+ I think he was surprised
when I felt my fear for him escape into the connection. He said +I
understand. You are so much more skilled in these things, you're afraid
at my level, something bad could happen. You could be right. I won't
push it, and I won't try it secretly.+ I said +That's a lot for me to
ask of you.+ He said +That's why I said it first.+ We poked and tickled
each other.
I looked around, and we were alone in the cabin. Our friends must
have gone to their activities, and Rod must have told them to let us
alone. That was very nice of him. I said that to Chad, and said, +I
have an idea for an experiment. What do you think of this. I draw a
charmed picture of an object, and then activate the picture, and try to
move the object with my mind.+ He got excited and said, +Do it!+ I drew
a picture of a shell, and put my feeling of it's individuality into it.
The picture glowed a different color than pictures of people or places
did. I stared at the picture and activated it. Then I reached into it
with my mind, and I could feel the shell. I somehow grabbed it and
moved it up into the air. Chad was still in contact with me, and saw
how I did it. He tried to do it himself, and moved it. Then I cut all
the connections, and the shell fell back onto the bed. I gave the
picture to Chad, so he could try it on his own. He could activate the
picture, but couldn't make the shell move, despite my coaching. I said
"I'm not sure why you couldn't do it, but there are possibilities. One
is I have an object sense. I could feel the shell with my mind. Another
is, your abilities might not be developed enough. You should try it
again when your third eye opens up all the way. I'm sure it will, in
time, my impatient brother." He hugged and kissed me.
I said "I have another idea. I cleaned and aligned Tomba's chakras.
I've only done that to sick people. You aren't sick, but I wonder what
effect it would have on you if I did it now. It won't cause any harm.
What do you think?" He said "DO IT! You knew I would say that." I said
"Sure, but I had to ask. Undress and lie down on your back, and close
your eyes. That way I might be able so see your energy centers better."
He did, and I ran my hands all over him, about an inch away from his
skin, using the chakras in my hands to feel his chakras and and put
just the right energy in the right places to clean and align them. He
jumped and twitched a little, when my hands were in different areas,
and he got a boner when my hands were over his monster. I saved his
head for last. When I put my hand over where his third eye would be, it
suddenly open wide, and stayed open. Then I moved my hand to the top of
his head, and his aura flared very bright for a second. I said "Make a
picture of my face in your mind. Then push your mind into it. He said
in mindtalk +Hello?+ I said +You did it!+ He said +Correction. WE did
it.+ I said +Please disconnect now.+ He did, and sat up. Then I cried
my eyes out.
Chad hugged me and said, "What's wrong? Were you afraid you had hurt
me?" I said "No, I'm SO happy, I can hardly stand it. For me, being not
so lonely now, and for you. I felt really bad for you that I helped
Tomba, a stranger, become a little like me, and not you. Now we fixed
that, and you will be much better than him. A psychic genius can't help
but be powerful, and you are the first I know, besides me, and I'm so
happy, I don't know how to tell you." I poured my love into him, and he
melted into my arms. We cried together. And loved.
Your friend,
Stephen
