This post includes a Christmas song from each of the two
previous Angel Voices albums, Note the beautiful solos of
Liam O'Kane -- though he is now considered persona non
grata with Libera due to some untold mischief he got up to
before he graduated the program.
DID YOU KNOW: The boys became known as the Angel
Voices through a wish to do some commercial work. For
example, they were often asked about doing soundtrack work
or for backing vocals as they did for Sir Cliff Richard's
recording of Mistletoe and Wine.
Although they were still the boys' choir at St. Philips, they
were also a seperate group. Taken to the extreme, they
have become Libera. Not all of the boys in the church choir
participate in Libera though I understand that they all are
given the chance.
