An old Fort Member was teaching younger Fort Memebers about life.
"A fight is going on inside of me," he said to the young Fort listeners.
"It is a terrible fight, and it is between two wolves.
One wolf is evil. He is anger, sorrow, envy, regret, arrogance, self-pity,
resentment, inferiority, false pride, superiority, and ego.
The other wolf is good. He is joy, hope, serenity, humility, benevolence,
empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.
"This same fight is going on inside of you and inside of every other
person who comes to The Fort."
One young Member then asked, "But tell us, honored Fort Father, which wolf
will win?"
The old Fort Member replied, "The one that you feed."
