I don't have very strong feelings one way or the other, but it would be in
your interest to pay close attention to the advice Cosmos had for you. He is
a highly (underline, underline) respected member of this group and is
extraordinarily gracious. His response to you is an example of that.
Your posts are welcome up to a point. I cannot speak for others, but the
very large volume of images you post has a kind of deadening effect. Each
individual image becomes trivialized. Too much in my view! (pun intended)
But I don't criticize posters, particularly since I don't post anything other
than commentary. If you take the time to post, then how you do it is pretty
much up to you. I don't criticize posters for taking whatever security
measures they feel they must (passwords, for example).
I do agree with Mover that just dumping tons of pix is more in keeping with
the practices of groups other than this one. And, those long, long strings
of posts do make other material a bit harder to find.
I would emphasize, however, Cosmos's point about security. Probably each of
us has posted, at one time or another, a careless post. It should make you
nervous. All of these groups are constantly observed by those who wish us
harm (not all of whom are LEA) and it pays to be doubly certain about what
you are going to put out there.
