Thanks for your review, Kevin. I finally finished my mission, mere
minutes ago, to re-read all the Pern books that I had read years ago,
from Dragonflight to Dragonsdawn, and then continue on to read all of
the books that have been written since then. I just finished reading
Dragon's Fire, so I'll be getting Dragon Harper next week and reading
that. I'm very excited! :)
One thing that has me a bit confused, however, and perhaps someone
here can clear this up for me... It seems that in these last few
books, dragons all of a sudden started making booming noises when they
appear from between. I always imagined them just appearing silently,
and this noisemaking seems a bit awkward to me. Other than that,
however, I can't complain about these latest books with Todd as
collaborating author or on his own. I think he's done a tremendous
job. :)
