no problem captain: a couple well trained fire lizards could simply pop
in and out of *between* with the appropriate book turned to the right
place.
but some good reasons for reading in the order written:
when you finally get the Lessa and her magic powers you wonder where
that came from out of the blue,
instead of enjoying the way the author developed her world as she wrote
the surprise when Jaxom finds the mountain as opposed to the 'when the
heck does someone look there' feeling
the enjoyment of trying to figure out why thing are on PERN (OH! they
bioengineered dragons)
