I think the series 3 covers are definately the best, I was lucky
enough to start reading the books around this time. Series 4 being
definately the worst, whoever made the decision to cover up the
beutiful artwork deserves being flamed. Probably the same person who
decided plain covers was the way to for for Wheel of Time :-/
Although its probably my least favourite of the books I think
Renegades is one of the best covers as its nice and colourful instead
of the typical perched on rock pic.
