I seem to have run into a small problem. New box (runs M$ XP) due to
unknown problem with old box running ME - ran HD diagnostic, virus scan
-you name it but the old gal kept freezing up which damaged gravity db
ect. etc. (not gravity problem as it would freeze randomly).
So - new box. Then I took the HD from the old one and stuffed it into new
one to recover stuff. Got a lot but still about 25 gig of 'goodies' on drive.
Then, out of the blue, the new box says the old drive is not formatted!!
That made me say a few unkind words (Bill's ears must be fried)!
Is there software that I can use to get back into my old Western Digital HD
and how do I go about this? Hardware I know well, software another story.
