I've had Microsoft Works on every computer since '95.
Worked on Win95, 98, 98 SE, XP, Vista. No problems.
About a week ago a notice of MS update appeared, same
as I usually get when Bill Gates updates Vista. I click
Install and go about my business. Couple of days later I
go to open Works to update my Bills Paid data base
and........new version of Works.
All my old data bases ...........gone.
