Ada, this is my periodic "Atta Boy Ada!" to let you know your posts are still
eagerly awaited by me at least, and by others to be sure.

Keep up the great work!

As an aside, I don't know if you have aver seen "The Magnetic Monster" made back
in 1953. I believe it was the first installment of the "A-Men" and the "OSI"
franchise of sci-fi films of the 50's. I remember seeing this on TV when I was
VERY young and it left an indelible image of a scene from it in my mind. A scene
of a ladder and coil of wire being held magnetically against vertical steel
doors. I couldn't recall anything else about the film, and inquired in a sci-fi
binary group. I was rewarded with the name, "The Magnetic Monster" by astute
members of the group. I am very grateful for their information. It allowed me to
find a DVD-R copy sold by one of the vendors specializing in period films. I
mention this because I found out that a Blu-ray conversion was being done to be
released this month. I pre-ordered it and it arrived yesterday. I'm current
rewatching it. Have you ever seen this classic sci-fi film? I recommend it if
not. You may be able to find it in one of the sci-fi binary groups, (assuming
there are more than 1) where I know it was posted at least once. Maybe by myself
at one point, I can't recall exactly, but I feel like I did post it from the
DVD-R I received.. Obviously it wasn't copy protected. Anyway, the Blu-ray looks
really good. Not much on extras however, but I assume there wasn't much material
related to this movie available other than the trailer, and a commentary track
recently done by a film historian.. Well there I go being verbose again. ;-) I
hope this information is useful to someone in the group.
